She had left Sasuke with a shattered heart and a million unanswered questions. The betrayal was a sore wound on the girl as she wiped her tears away from her red, swollen eyes that never stopped producing tears. How could have she fallen for his tricks for the second time? How was she so naïve? She really thought he had changed- frankly even the most genius person would have thought Sasuke had changed but oh boy, things would never go Misa's way. She couldn't stop remembering the good and happy memories she had spent with him and the itch in her mind wouldn't simply wash away. The lump that had formed in her throat seemed to enlarge every moment she thought about her recent heartbreak rendering her pain greater than ever. The thought of what had happened was too much for Misa to handle. At first she thought she was overreacting... She tried to pin it on her hormones but then Misa gradually made her mind up and knew she wasn't in the wrong. She was never in the wrong. It was always Sasuke, the Sasuke who had thought of using her. He had even asked her to marry him!! The sudden shift in his attitude was peculiar and at a certain point it made her wonder what would have happened if she never left the room? What she didn't know was that Uchiha already knowing she would definitely step out of the room in search of him. He knew her too well.

Now she was left pregnant on her way back to Konoha. Her mind was instilled with fear knowing the reactions of the town people when they would get to know Misa had slept with the enemy and had got pregnant without marrying- the scandals would never end but what could she do? She was just a young adult, doing stupid decisions just like anyone her age would and possibly had done. Her only hope was that Tsunade and her brother would welcome her back with open arms. Even worse Danzo was right there in the village. The girl trembled whenever she thought about him. He was a savage and a vicious man who was out for her blood. She didn't know why he was so hell-bent on capturing her. As far as she knew she hadn't even really been in contact with Danzo other than the time... the time he used a technique only Sharingan users could do... However Uzumaki Misa knew she didn't have anywhere else to go. She had only been in the forest, Konoha and Orochimaru's den. The sane choice would be going back to Konoha and trying to avoid the clutches of Danzo, living under her brother's shadow once again but deep down, Misa knew she could never sway away from the clutches of one of the most powerful men in Konoha... She'd always end up in his trap like an ant struggling to get away from the spider's web. How could the world be so cruel to her? How could they continuously pick on her?

Izumi and Kotetsu were lazy and tired of their gate guarding duty. Having gate duty was one of the most boring jobs and would be always their boring days. Guarding the gates of Konoha was such a despicable job and unluckily, they were always assigned as the gatekeepers of Konoha. Maybe it was because of their great capability and abilities even though they were always lazing around at guarding the gates. Nothing interesting ever happened at the gates. Obviously the enemy would never randomly walk in through the gates if they were planning to bring Konoha down... nor would the ANBU walk out of the gates randomly if they were going on a secret mission. But things were about to change on the very fateful day.

"So did you manage to get a date?" Izumi stretched his arms getting up from his seat and walking out eternally tired of just sitting inside the guard house.

"I'm too busy with work," Kotetsu lied not really liking the fact that he hadn't managed to pull anyone.

"Busy guarding the gates of Konoha?" His partner snickered, teasing the man further into frustration.
