It was a heartbreaking instance with Misa gradually shedding some tears as she heard Itachi's whispers to the child. Itachi's heart warmed at the sight of Misa crying for him. It proved how sensitive and how easy was it to bond with the young Uzumaki. If things were only different... he could have treated her like a sister but now it was time for him to go.
That was the first time Uzumaki Misa and Uchiha Itachi ever shared a conversation and that would be the last time Uzumaki Misa saw Uchiha Itachi.

Meanwhile Naruto sat next Shikamaru groaning out loudly in the park. The brief argument he had with Misa was messing up his mind and had ruined his whole mood. He couldn't figure out or even understand as to why his sister would say those hateful... heartbreaking words to him. The Misa from five years ago would have never... She would have never hurt him like this.
"What happened this time?" Shikamaru mumbled lighting up a cigarette cursing Naruto in his mind, "You do know that I don't get paid enough to be your personal therapist every single time something happens."
"Yeah? And yet you still listen every single time," The blonde haired boy elbowed his friend in a jokingly manner
"If not for me, who else will? Sasuke? Too bad he's gone rogue," Shikamaru mocked Naruto who visibly sighed, "So, go ahead. Fill me in."
"Well..." Naruto was silent thinking of a way he could explain the situation to his friend until he just gave up and started to cram all the words in a single explanation, "Well Misa thinks I always choose people over her and you know that is not true. She blamed me for not finding her and saving her from Sasuke. I just don't know. I told her that Lady Tsunade warned us not to get involved and I tried to go against her word and find her... But Sai-."
"Chill man. Stop panicking. Look, you definitely need to give her time. She's been through a lot. She loves you the most out of the bunch and that's why she is taking it out on you," Shikmaru pointed out intelligently taking a puff.
The older Uzumaki begged to differ however, "Misa's an angel. She would never behave this way! I just don't even know why she is acting like this. This is not her."
"Are you hearing yourself right now? Everyone changes. You can't expect a person to be the same person they used to be five years ago."
"That doesn't mean anything. Even if she changed, how could she keep such a big secret away from me? Her brother," Naruto fisted his palms tightly letting the tips of his fingers dig crescents into his hardened skin, "It doesn't make sense. We were already away from each for so long. Why should I give her space right now?"
"Oh... so she told you about her pregnancy?"
Naruto glared hard with his voice ranging of the highest capacity a human could hear, "NO, I FUCKING FOUND OUT! I FOUND IT FROM A TOTAL ENEMY."
