We arrived at Outback at 5:30. We were seated in a large room separate from the main dinning area.
"Li, whatcha getting?" Kelley asked me.
"I don't know. What are you getting?"
"I think I'm going to get a burger."
"Yeah. I'll probably get one too."
We ordered and then talked before our meal.
"Alright. So we all know each other but Li doesn't know us very well. Lets introduce ourselves. Say your full name, nickname, birthday, age and favorite color. I'll start." Carli said. "Well my name'd Carli Anne Lloyd. Some call me Car. My birthday is July 16. And I'm 31. My favorite color is pink."
Then we went around the table.
"I'm Hope Amelia Solo. Everyone usually just calls me Hope or Solo. My birthday is July 30 and I'm 32. And my favorite color is purple."
"My names Alexandra Blaire Krieger. People call me Ali or Kriegs. My birthday is July 28 and I'm 29. My favorite color is red."
"My names Ashlyn Michelle Harris. People call me Ash. Birthday's October 19 and I'm 28. My favorite color's blue."
"My names Sydney Rae Leroux. I'm really Syd the Kid. And my birthday is May 7 and I'm 24. My favorite color's purple."
"I'm Alexandra Patricia Morgan. People call me Alex."
"BABY HORSE!" Everyone yelled.
"Or baby horse. My birthday is July 2 and I'm 24. My favorite color's pink."
It was my turn. "My names Liana Marie Webb. Most people call me Li. Some call me Lione. Doesn't matter. My birthday is September 2 and in 22. My favorite color is blue."
"I'm Kelley Maureen O'Hara. Most people call me Kel. My birthday is August 4 and I'm 25. My favorite color is blue."
"I'm Heather Ann O'Reilly. Just call me HAO. My birthday is January 2 and I'm 29. Favorite color is green."
"I'm Morgan Paige Brian. People call me Moe or Morgan. I'm 21. My birthday is February 26. My favorite color's blue."
"I'm Whitney Elizabeth Engen. Call me Whit. I'm 26 birthday is November 28. Favorite color is green."
"I'm Alyssa Michelle Naeher. You can call me Alyssa. I'm 26. Born on April 20. Favorite color is pink."
"I'm Lori Christine Chalupny. You can just call me Lori of Chaulup. I'm 30 born on January 29. Favorite color is orange."
"In Meghan Elizabeth Klingenberg. Everyone calls me Kling. Even I call myself Kling. I'm 33. My birthday is August 2. And my favorite color is green."
"I'm Julie Beth Johnston. People call me JJ or Jules. I was born on April 6 making me 22. And my favorite color is blue."
"I'm Lauren Nicole Holiday. People still call me Chens. I'm 26. Birthday's September 30. And my favorite color is pink."
"My names Tobin Powell Heath. People call me Tobs, Tob, and sadly Toby. I'm 26. My birthday is May 29. And my favorite color is blue."
"My name is Amy Joy Rodriguez Shilling. Call me AROD. I'm 27 and my birthdays is February 17. Favorite color is green."
"Megan Anna Rapinoe. Informally known as Pinoe. I'm 28. 29 on July 5. And my favorite color is blue."
"I'm Christen Annemarie Press. People call me Press or Pressy. I'm 25. My birthday is December 29. And my favorite color is purple."
"My names Rebecca Elizabeth Sauerbrunn. Becky or Reba. I turned 28 on June 6. And my favorite color is pink."
"Finally I'm Mary Abigail Wambach. Don't call me Mary. I'm Abby. I turned 34 on June 2nd. And my favorite color is red."
"Done." Carli said.
"Well I guess you know a little more about this team." Pinoe said.
"Yeah. I guess so."
"So let me hear a little bit more about this Ben." Kelley prodded.
"Really Kel?"
"Yeah. Tell us." Tobin added.
"Okay. Well I met Ben in 3rd grade. We've been friends ever since. He was my homecoming date all four years and my prom date the last two. I left him to go to North Carolina. He was waiting when I returned a couple weeks before I left to come here. And then I left him again. So that was tough. And I'm defiantly missing him and can't wait to see him again."
"Aww. We've gotta meet him!" Alex said.
"Yeah. I hope to have him meet you."
The food came and we all ate.
"Who's up for dessert?" Kelley asked.
"Li wanna split something?" She asked me.
"Yeah sure."
We split a cheesecake. It was so good.
"Alright. So who's up for a game of truth or dare?" Abby asked.
We played for an hour and then left. We all piled on the bus and drove back to the hotel.
"So how was your first team dinner?" Alex asked me.
"It was fun."
"We usually only have one a camp. But when we get into tournaments we have more."
"So who do I eat with?"
"Well you'll usually go out with a few people. Everyone goest different places. Depends on what you want. We usually split up based on what you want before dinner. Then we all meet back up for a pool night or something like that."
"Oh. That sounds fun."
"Yeah. This team's a lot of fun. You'll have a great time!"
"I hope I can stay with you guys."
"You're doing great. Tomorrow lifting. You'll defiantly be sore from that but it's pretty easy."
"Okay."
Once we got there we said our goodbyes in the lobby. Everyone was one a different floor.
"Come on. Let's go to our room." Tobin said.
