"Okay my turn!" Kai piped up
"Wait wait, me and Tae bought your guys' gifts together so you need to open them at the same time!" Haerin said with an evil laugh
"Please don't tell me you got us the same present!" Kai whined
"Yeah, I wanted something that was one of a kind" Kira mumbled and Haerin glared from her side
"Well you know what's not one of a kind? A twin. So shut the fuck up and open it" Taehyun said and Jaehyun let out a chesty laugh and Kira huffed and opened her present simultaneously with Kai who was busy unwrapping his
"No fucking way!" She exclaimed as soon as she saw the infamous blue and orange design
"Jaehyun quick! Take cover!" Krit shouted, passing him a pillow to use as a shield as Kira and Kai opened their presents quickly like a bunch of savages, but unfortunately, Kai was the first one to unpackage the nerf gun, and the tiny styrofoam bullet went flying at Kira's head.
She instinctively dug her head into Jaehyun's shoulder as he struggled to contain his laughter, trying his best to use the small cushion to cover her head
"Jeffrey who's side are you on?!" Kai whined as he gave up shooting bullets at his sister, giving Kira enough time to emerge from behind the covers, standing up to her feet as Kai widened his eyes, realising he was out of bullets
"The names Bond...James Bond." Kira said with her British accent, chasing her brother around the living room and hallway, wreaking havoc as the group clutched their stomachs with laughter
"Quiet guys, don't wake Jihye up" Haerin warned from the couch and the two returned with bright smiles over the faces, retaking their positions on the couch.
"God I still can't believe Jung Jaehyun is here" Haerin sighed and he chuckled
"Like...the guy that we all went crazy about when NCT Life was playing is in my living room right now" Kai said
"Is it weird for you guys?" Jaehyun asked, running a hand through his hair
"No it's just...it's kind of normal almost...? Like we sort knew you before we met you" Haerin explained and Jaehyun smiled
"I feel a little bad that I don't know you guys" he said and Krit shook his head
"We're boring, don't worry about it" he replied and he chuckled
"Can we all just collectively agree for a second here that Jaehyun is the first guy Kira brought home that we actually don't want to throw out the window?" Eunhye said and the group agreed, making Kira roll her eyes
"What the hell are you talking about? Okay first of all, were not dating. Second of all, you guys liked Seunghan!" She said, defending her choice in men
"Okay in all fairness Seunghan wasn't the worst...but still, the fact that you walked in on him making out with Soyeon at the party was peak bro" Haerin said, rolling her eyes at the boy she grew hatred for
"I'm telling yall, men are the problem. Just date each other" Eunhye shrugged and Kira blew a kiss to Haerin
"I don't think its fair to blame all men...you guys just need a better screening process" Krit said and Kai chuckled
"But to be honest, isn't it weird you haven't heard from Seunghan in ages?" Sora asked and Kira hummed
"A little but...Tae did break his nose the last time he tried to contact me" Kira said and Jaehyun's ears perked up at the tense atmosphere
"And I felt really good about it after" Taehyun smirked, playfully punching the air
"Who's Seunghan?" He asked, nudging Kira lightly under the covers
