"Nice place you got here" Kira said, looking around Jaemin's apartment as he invited her in out if respect

"Yeah I need the space since I have three babies" he said, handing her a pair of slippers and her eyes widened at the statement

"I meant my kittens" he said, breaking out into a laugh and she sighed in relief

"Of course...anyway I can't really stay lo—" the sound of her stomach grumbling with hunger caught them both off guard and she sheepishly smiled

"Are you in a rush? I made cold noodles for lunch if you want some" he offered nicely, and if it wasn't for her stomach grumbling even louder at the thought of food, she would've declined

"Or is your brother still waiting?" Jaemin asked and she shook her head

"He went grocery shopping so I'll take the subway home" she said and he nodded, leading the way into his living room where Jihye had already found her way into, playing with one of the cats

"Jaemin if you ever need a cat sitter—"

"Of course, you'll be the first person I call" he chuckled, heading into the kitchen to finish cooking while she got herself comfortable in his space, petting the cats as well

"Jihye, what do you want to do after lunch? I bought this new puzzle, do you want to help me?" Jaemin asked, starting up conversation with the girl. Lunch was surprisingly almost normal for Kira, and at some point she eventually even forgot that Jaemin was a whole idol, because in front of her at this moment he was purely just his truest form.

"That piece is too big...maybe try here" Kira said, pointing to the empty puzzle space so Jihye could place one of the pieces down, yet it didn't fit again.

"This is so difficult!" Jihye huffed, slumping her shoulders as she felt overwhelmed by the 1000 piece puzzle Jaemin had suggested they do together

"How about we watch a movie instead?" Jaemin suggested and she nodded

"Toy story!" Jihye exclaimed and Jaemin smiled brightly, turning on his TV to find the movie for her while Kira kept herself concentrated on finishing the puzzle with Jaemin, snd before they knew it, Jihye was fast asleep on his couch.

Jaemin and Kira found themselves naturally engaging in small talk, petting his cats and successfully finishing the puzzle. Jaemin, who always dresmed of being a doctor before an idol, was more than happy to listen to her explain all her assignments and what she was up to in university. He intrinsically wondered what it would be like if he didn't go down the idol route. They eventually found themselves getting tired, opting to order a pizza and throw on a show on Netflix in the background, finding comfort in each others presence.

"I'll get it" Jaemin said, sitting up and stretching, putting his slippers on his feet as he walked to the door, running a hand through his hair.

Kira rubbed her eyes as she felt herself getting tired, looking at the clock with surprise to see that it was already 10pm.

"Yeah she fell asleep on the couch" Jaemin's voice could be heard from behind her as she turned her head to see a pretty exhausted Jaehyun accompany him. The sleeves of his long sleeve shirt rolled up with a cap put on backwards to shield his eyes from his hair.

"Oh...you're still here?" His voice said, deep with surprise and another emotion she couldn't quite put her finger on

"Yeah...we were watching friends and I completely lost track of him. I'm sorry if I was in your way—"

"Not at all! You're really good company" Jaemin assured, smiling at her as she stood to her own two feet, grabbing the remote and pausing the show

"Hey sweetie, ready to go home?" Jaehyun asked softly, shifting his attention to his daughter who was slowly waking up to the sounds around her
