"She's pissing me off" Kira mumbled, shoulders slumped and arms folded over her chest as she walked over to Jaehyun.

"What did she do this time?" Jaehyun asked with a light chuckle

"She was like 'oh my son started walking when he was a year old, he even said his first word at that age' like just shut up, nobody actually gives a—"

"Kids baby, we're at a school" Jaehyun smiled, pulling her hand down so she could sit on the plastic yellow chair

"Can you peel this orange for me?" A little boy who was a lot younger than Jihye asked, tugging at Jaehyun's sweater for attention

"Of course, what's your name?" Jaehyun asked with a smile, turning to him. Kira pouted a little from the side, heart swelling at the thought of Jaehyun playing with a boy around the age of four. She couldn't wait for Jinhyung to grow up and be his dad's little partner in crime but she also never wanted her baby to grow up at all.

"Sunwoo" he smiled, his little hand still gripping onto Jaehyun's jumped

"Want me to feed you?" Jaehyun asked, watching the boy nod his head slowly before plopping one of the orange pieces into his mouth. The boy squeezed his eyes shut and shook his head at the first bite making Jaehyun break out into a laugh

"Is it sour Sunwoo?" Jaehyun asked, poking the boy's stomach and laughing along with him.

"I'm going to go to the bathroom, I'll meet you outside" Kira smiled, excusing herself from Jaehyun who was preoccupied with the little boy. It was very rare that Jaehyun ever got involved in school activities due to his idol status, but ever since they had gone public with Jihye's relationship to him, everything felt much more settled. The teachers and parents even encouraged him to get involved more to make sure Jihye didn't feel left out.

Kira found herself pressed against the door of the bathroom stall, arms crossed as she listened to the familiar voice of Kevin's mother and her posse of middle aged moms from outside the bathroom.

"Imagine raising two kids from such a young age...you're still a kid yourself, what can you even teach a child?" The woman chuckled, powdering her nose in the mirror, completely unaware that Kira was in the same room as them

"She's not even her real mom...she's probably just with him for the money" another woman stated

"Yeah that's probably it. Jihye is probably neglected all the time, that's why she's doing so bad in school. Poor thing" the third woman spoke as if they were pitying the girl Kira had spent about two years with already, raising her like she was her own. Kira scoffed, shaking her head and unlocking the stall.

"I mean Jihye isn't enrolled in any after school classes, it's obviously because the parents don't..." the woman's voice trailed off as she watched an unbothered Kira walk out of the bathroom stall and head to the sink to wash her hands

"Oh...did I interrupt your conversation? Speak freely" Kira said with a shrug, reaching for the soap and eyeing all three women in the mirror as they fell silent.

"If you're gonna keep talking a bunch of horse shit, I suggest you enroll yourself into the preschool too" Kira said with a sigh

"I raise my kids just fine. You worry about yours. They don't need to be the next Einstein for me to love them" She said, clearing her throat as she reached for the door handle

"That's what being a real mother is like. But you wouldn't know that would you?" She asked, raising an eyebrow before letting herself out, grumbling curses under her breath until she walked outside to meet Jaehyun like promised.
