"Somebody call 911! Shawty fire burning on the dancefloor!" Kai's voice could be heard shouting as Jaehyun and Kira smiled, taking off their slippers and walking along the sand.
"Kayden won't kill me right? Like this isn't all just some trap to lure me in and kill me...right?" Jaehyun asked playfully and she shrugged
"Did you not watch Get Out?" She asked and his smile fell
"Yeah but...that won't happen...right?" He pressed on
"Well there's a bonfire for a reason babe, we'll just do a quick human sacrifice and dance around your dying body" She said simply and he rolled his eyes
"You know, I feel like I don't know you at all...ever since that whole clown kink thing" Jaehyun muttered and she chuckled, patting his back as they approached the group.
"Ello love, you a'right?" Kayden asked and Kira chuckled, placing her hands on his shoulders
"How many drinks have you had?" She laughed, seeing Jaehyun sit on one of the chairs between him and Kai. She opted to sit on his lap, making him smile, holding her waist tightly to keep her close.
"Hmm, you two" Kira said narrowing her eyes at Kai and Haerin who seemed to be in the exact same position beside them
"You never really broke up did you?" Kira scoffed
"Please don't tell Taehyun" Kai pleaded and Jaehyun laughed
"I don't understand why he's so against it...isn't it a good thing if you guys date?" Jaehyun asked
"He's just worried about the friend group falling apart...like when me and Seunghan broke up we lost a lot of friends—"
"In all fairness, we didn't want to be friends with people that were okay with what he did...we had to stick by you" Haerin said and Kira pouted
"So you guys won't abandon me if I broke up with Jaehyun?" She asked
"Which is never going to happen by the way" Jaehyun butted in and she smiled
"Oh no, we would block you." Kai said
"What?" Kira asked with slight surprise
"Who do you think you are to break up with THE Jeong Jaehyun, you're crazy" Kai said, shaking his head
"Wait so, how is the man from your poster...your boyfriend? What kind of spell did you cast with your crystals this time?" Kayden asked and Emily hit his arm lightly
"I worked as Jihye's babysitter for a while and then we just kind of hit it off" she smiled down at Jaehyun who knew there was a lot more to the story behind that sentence.
"And Jihye loved her from the very start as well...it was like she finally had a mother figure, you know?" Jaehyun smiled
"Must be nice" Kai snickered
"Well...now that we're on the note of mother figures...we actually wanted to ask you guys something" Emily said, taking Kayden's hand into hers with her other hand on her belly.
"Yeah...so after a long hard think about it...we decided that we want you two to be the godparents" Kayden said with a smile, looking between both Kai and Kira who dropped their jaws at the statement
"You trust me with a child?" Kai asked with surprise
"Oh my god" Kira breathed out and Jaehyun wrapped his arms around her waist tighter than before, letting her sink into his grip
"And uh...we're actually thinking of naming her after you" Kayden said with a smile and Kira widened her eyes
"It's a girl?!" She asked, voice almost cracking
"Mhm" Kayden smiled with pride, smiling at his fiancée
"You always wanted a girl!" Kira said with adoration dripping from her voice and Kayden chuckled
"And now I have one...Jennifer Lee" Kayden said, reaching over to pinch Kira's cheeks as she pouted
"Your middle name is Jennifer?" Jaehyun asked with slight surprise and she glared at him playfully
"So as godparents you both have to be there for the delivery okay? We need you there to sign the papers" Kayden said sternly and they nodded excitedly
"Baby Jenny" Kira pouted, standing up to give her brother a hug, and he chuckled, returning one back
"Why is she your favourite sibling! That's not fair" Kai whined playfully and Kayden rolled his eyes
"I'll name the next one after you" Kayden compromised
"But why does she get the first one!" Kai groaned and Jaehyun chuckled, holding Kira again as she sat down on his lap
"Because she started walking first" Kayden reasoned irrationally
"I started walking later that exact same day!" Kai argued
"Suck on that Kylie" Kira teased, poking out her tongue
"Kylie?" Haerin chuckled
"Yeah, because he's Kai Lee" Kelsey said slowly and Kai rolled his eyes, standing up to his feet with a grumble.
"Wait hold up, Kai can I ask you something?" Jaehyun asked, tapping Kira's leg to make her stand up so he could catch up with Kai who was fleeing the scene
"Anything brother-in-law, whats up?" Kai said, placing his arm over Jaehyun's shoulders
"Umm...can you like not laugh either?" Jaehyun asked, nervously scratching the back of his head as they walked towards the villas
"Why? Are you gonna show me your pee pee?" Kai teased like usual
"No—what? Why would you laugh at that anyway?" Jaehyun chuckled, shaking his head at his blunt and very concerning sense of humour
"Because it's probably smaller than mine" Kai shrugged. Jaehyun scoffed, looking down at his bare feet on the sand beside his and let out a chesty laugh.
"Oh you wish" Jaehyun smirked and Kai rolled his eyes
"Whatever, so whats up?" Kai asked
"Is it...normal to have a clown kink?" Jaehyun asked, making him stop in his tracks
"You know Jae...this is the kind of stuff people google in incognito mode" Kai said with an uncomfortable smile
"You have a clown kink?" He asked with wide eyes and Jaehyun cleared his throat
"Not me..." he trailed off, looking back to Kira who was innocently laughing with Kelsey
"Oh my god, I'm gonna vomit" Kai gagged and Jaehyun chuckled, watching him run off
"Nice talking to you Kylie!" He joked, shaking his head before continuing his path towards the villa
