Didn’t Isha go to the ribbon-cutting ceremony of that KTV?

Himanshi saw it with her own eyes. Someone from the KTV came to pick Isha up. She even watched the car drove away.

And even if Isha changed her mind, people from the KTV wouldn’t give her a chance.

After all, they were so eager to use Isha’s fame to promote their KTV.

However, it was really Isha who appeared in front of her now.

Himanshi blinked her eyes hard several times to make sure that she wasn’t just seeing things.

She started feeling nervous, so she had to sit down first to calm herself down.

Since Isha was here, it meant that she didn’t go to the KTV.

This also meant that she wouldn’t be questioned or abused by her fans anymore.

“Himanshi, don’t be nervous. Even if Isha is here, she won’t appear on the stage,” Manisha said to comfort Himanshi.

She then looked at Isha and asked, “What are you doing here?”

Isha raised the invitation in her hand and said with a smile, “I’m here to be the substitute.”

“Funny! Himanshi is fine. How can she need a substitute? Isha, I think you’re tired. You’d better go back and have a good rest. Don’t be the cause of delay for the next jobs,” Manisha advised.

Isha flipped her long and curly chestnut hair over her shoulder, accentuating her bright and delicate face.

She then smiled and said, “How can she be fine? Himanshi, I remember that you seem to have intermittent asthma.”

Upon hearing Isha’s words, Himanshi’s breath became more unstable, and her breathing became even more rapid.

Himanshi always had intermittent asthma.

She had been suffering from this illness since she was a child. She lived with her mother, Zuhi, and had never had a father. Besides, she often heard people say that her mother was someone’s mistress. This made her suspicious, sensitive, and self-abased.

Every time she went out to play with other children, she often couldn’t fit into them.

The parents of those children didn’t like them to have more contact with her.

So this had aggravated her asthma. As long as she felt too nervous or came into contact with something that could trigger her allergies, her asthma attacked.

Today, she had some breathing problems because she was very nervous for two reasons. First, it was her first time joining in an international fashion show. And second, she only stole this opportunity from Isha.

That was why she had been holding a glass of water and sipping it, trying her best to control her tension.

As long as she could control it, there wouldn’t be a big problem.

Since she had returned to the Sharma family, she had lived a good life over the years. She was no longer as sensitive and inferior as she used to be.

So she didn’t feel nervous so easily.

Her asthma would only attack once every few months.

At this moment, Himanshi couldn’t control her breathing after hearing Isha’s words.

Manisha hurriedly said to Isha, “Isha, Himanshi will be on the stage soon. You can’t provoke her.”

“Why can’t I? Who gave you the courage to say that to me?” Isha smiled and continued, “After you stole my opportunity and arranged an event that can ruin my reputation for me, I’m not allowed to fight back?”
