Harry: The day was fast approaching, the one where you left and Harry was once again alone. You'd slowly been packing your things for the past week, hoping to get all your things in order before returning home from your summer abroad. Harry's standing in the apartment you had subleased for the summer, glancing around at the things that had never really belonged to you; him included. You watch him from your spot in the kitchen, watching as he takes in the pictures you had returned to their rightful places and this place has never felt more unlike home. "So... this is it then" Harry asks, nodding to the Vera Bradley weekender bag by the door and you nod. "Somehow... three months didn't seem like that long" he mumbles, stuffing his hands in his pockets to lean back against the couch but thinks better of it at the last moment. "We both knew this day was coming so... let's not be sad" you remind him and Harry chuckles, looking up from the spot he'd been staring at to shrug his shoulders. "But... it's ok to be a little sad right?" he questions and you ponder the question for a moment before nodding. "Ok... then I'm a little sad" Harry admits and you smile softly. "Me too Haz" you whisper but he shakes his head. "Don't... call me that, it just makes this harder" he starts and all you can do is nod "Don't... make promises we can't keep. I'm not going to promise to call and neither are you; I'm not going to promise to write because, let's be honest... I'm shit at that and while you're not, you're not going to promise to write because you know I probably won't return them" he finishes and while his words appear harsh, you can't help but agree. You had both agreed that the thing you had would only last for the summer and after that, you would both go your separate ways and that would be that. "Goodbye Harry... thank you, for an amazing London holiday" you whisper against his cheek as you both stand on the curb, cabbie waiting patiently in the black car Harry had arranged for you. "Can you... will you promise that you won't forget this summer?" Harry questions quietly and you smile softly at him, reaching up to caress his cheek gently before running your fingers through his soft curls one last time. "I couldn't, even if I tried. Can you promise you won't forget this summer?" you ask, leaning into the hand that's cupping your cheek and he grins. "Couldn't even if I tried" he tells you, placing one last kiss to your happy lips before putting you in the car. He tapped the top of the car and stepped away, watching as the black car took you away to the airport and away from him.

Liam: You had enjoyed the warm summer air of Fiji for the summer with your girlfriends. A week into your vacation you had met Liam, handsome and sweet as ever and a whirlwind summer romance had begun. Liam was kind and caring but hot and sexy at the same time. He had convinced you to stay on the island with him for the remainder of the summer, ensuring your friends you would be fine and would keep in touch. Somehow, you couldn't say no so you stayed. You hide away from the world and anyone looking to find the pop star, spending your days by the ocean and nights in your cabana. It's the morning of your last day, the day you'll be leaving the island to go your separate ways. You're laying in the large bed, spread out amongst the white sheets when Liam enters from the patio. "Enjoy your swim?" you ask, rolling over to lay on your side as he crawls onto the bed to greet you with a kiss. "Yes but sad this is the last morning swim I'll have" he admits, laying on his stomach with his head on his folded arms and he grins. You look at him, trying to memorize him like this; carefree and happy. "Don't do that" he says quietly, reaching out to swipe strands of your hair over your shoulder. "Do what?" you question quietly, looking to where your bags have been packed by the door with his standing beside them. "Try to memorize everything... just, let this be what it is. A happy morning, like all the rest" he reminds you, leaning over to press a kiss to your nose. "Don't look at me like this is the last time we'll see each other" he adds and you raise an eyebrow at him. "It's not like I'm not going to think of you every time I see the ocean or a beach. Or when I hear a ukulele" Liam answer and you turn your head to him, glancing at him underneath the early morning sun and you smile. "Or when you see a pink bikini" you giggle, curling into his side and Liam lifts his arm so you can press as close to him as possible. "Or the color in general" Liam chuckles, nuzzling your nose with his as you tangle your legs with his and hitch a leg over his hips. "I will miss you though" you say softly and Liam nods. "I'll miss you... and this place," he responds just as softly, shifting to his back so he can hold you until it's time to leave.
