ATHENA'S POV
We went home on my way i asked her.
"Whats the tea between you and cliff?" I asked neutrally.
"Huh what?" She said.
"Do you like him?" I asked very straightforwardly as taking things round round is not my thing.
"W-what are you saying " she said staring outside the window not looking at me.
"You know what i mean and now comeon say it" i said moving my attention from road to her.
"Its nothing like that" she said avoiding eye contact.
"Ok then" I sighed at again looked ahead.
"Fine. I dont know about him but I-I maybe like him a bit"
A soft smile appeared on my face.
"There you go" i said laughing a bit.
"How do you come to know though "
"Its clearly visible on his face dumbo"
"Are you sure i mean i dont think."
"And why is it?"
"Just i dont"
"I am sure he too" i said smiling at her.
"I wish" she said passing a smile.
"Do you want me to like ask him"
"WHAT !!HELL NO!!!" she said shouting.
"K fine I would not , dont shout."
"Promise me you wouldnot" she said showing me her pinky.
"But why i mean just ask him out if you like him and if he say no i will just punch him then just move on, its not a big deal." I said shrugging my shoulder.
"Do you think its a piece of cake" she said giving me a done look.
"Trust me he would not say no"
"And what made you think like that"
"The way he get jealous over you, the way he is protective, he always find ways to talk to you, is not that enough and besides who dares to reject such pretty and cute girl" i said giving her an assuring smile.
"So should i ?" She asked with shining eyes.
"You should darling "
"Ok i would." She said with a determined look.
" Thats like my girl" i said giving her a highfive.
And after some time i dropped her home. And start driving towards mine.
ARES'S POV
We were sitting here in a restaurant. And i asked cliff.
"So what about the plans of confessing ?"
"Umm should I ? " he said.
"Offcourse you should "
" What if she rejects? " he said bitting his lips.
"Yah Yah atleast give it a try" noah added.
"Yes be a man dude just ask out"
"But she is so pretty and good" Cliff.
"So?" I said
"What if she doesnt feel the same way? I am not good enough for her"
"Comeon you are thinking too much you are the best Mr. Cute cliff" noah
Cliff gave him a deadly glare. And he gulped.
"Stop calling me that" he said in a scary tone.
"Yah you idiot, just ask her out tommorow thats it" i said in a commanding tone.
He sighed and put his head on the table.
Only to look up again "ok i will tommorow."
"That's the spirit" i said trying to cheer him up.
