Roach heard the news of 141 in need of an other member. He knew how hard it'll be if he tries to be one, even after he passed the others won't really accept him as one of their own.

He knew but he still wanted to get it and make friends with them.

When he heard that they'll be at his base at the time, he made sure he was available for the recruitment. And when he heard that he passed all of them and got in he was overjoyed.

Roach can see ghosts. He sees them floating around 1 or 2 people. Never really showing emotions before disappearing. The ghosts talked to him, explained everything, helped him. And when a ghost has no one they go to Roach and talk and leave the mortal plane goodbye.

He only saw Sargent John "Soap" MacTavish after he passed and got to base of 141. He tired to talk to him a few times, but Soap seems determined to focus on the 'main' 141 and not him.

He understood and he waited for Soap to talk to him. For a few months Soap ignored Roach, he only started to talk to him after he saw Timmy, Ghost's brother talk to Roach about his life.

Soap then floated in one space, letting Ghost leave and not follow him and Roach took it as a 'Can we Talk?'.

Price left the room with Gaz and Ghost, apologizing to Roach as he wasn't a full member of 141 yet and they have a tradition to follow. Roach said he didn't mind and that they can go as he still needs to get use to the different time zone.

So now Soap and Roach stood in a room alone with the door closed.

"So tell me. How was your life?" Roach asks.

"... Not much. Only that I regret to leave Ghost alone." He brings his legs to his chest." He has no one other than them two."

"... How about you tell me what times were the most fun?" Roach took his helmet off and place it on the table.

"Ghost's jokes. Oh! Kyle trying to win at a drinking game knowing full well he can't hold liquor down!" Soap said with a smile. "Price once tired to play but he failed miserably! Haha! I keep wining!"

"How much of straight vodka?" Roach asks.

"36 1/5l bottles! " He proudly exclaimed.

They talked untill the clock showd 9 pm and Roach went to bed that Soap realizes that he had fun. For the last 6 months he now had fun with Roach.

The next day came and so did a training test. Soap told Roach a few tricks to do during and tips to remember what goes where. Roach thank him.

A month later Price got used to Roach and they hung out more. Gaz got use to him after 2 and a half months and still don't trust him enough to talk about Soap to him.

Ghost took the most time with a 4 months after Soap first spoke with Roach. He still doesn't talk a lot because of Soap's death, but he spoke less aggressively towards Roach. And he took it as a win!

Price walks up to Roach. " Hey Roach. Do you want to come with us?" Price asks him.

"Uh yeah! Where are we going?" Roach replied happily.

"The bar. We got a drinking competition to hold and can't play with 3 people." Price says.

Them 4 got in civil clothes and got to the bar. The owner sees a new member and immediately greeted them.

"Hello! Oh you must be the new one! So happy to meet you I'm Rose Trisha!" She introduced herself.

"Garry 'Roach' Sanderson, nice to meet you too, miss Rose."
