It was all fuzzy...sort of like you couldn't remember a thing, but could simultaneously. The room was dimly lit, with dark dank walls and had every trait for being an medwing, or an infirmary.

What had brought you to an infirmary with no memory?

You heard a thunder of footsteps. A little drowsy still - must have been given pain meds, you perked up in the bed, confused. Usually, if there was a noise of footsteps, it wouldn't be good news, but seeing as the rhythmic slapping of hard shoes on the thick floor weren't from a group of people, you frowned.

"_________!"

In bursting through the door, was a man with fair hair, on the verge of deciding to be brown or not. His eyes were bright, and seeing your confusion, were dampened by sadness.

"Who are you?" You tremble.

He had power in his stride, and it faltered when he you speak. Lips apart, a gasp shocks you. "No," he whispers, "Oh no." His hands run through his hair. He paces. "Do you remember your name? Anything?" He asks you.

You frown. "Yeah, you just said it. I'm _________, _________ __________.  I'm a - a (f/n) transfer, and I'm in..." You scrunch your nose. "Dauntless. But I don't remember anything since jumping...oh no..." You look at your hands, and glad to see they're not broken, along with your whole body, and you add, "It wasn't the fall, then what was it?" You whisper.

He takes a seat beside the bed. And a deep breath.

"My name is Four, I'm an instructor here for transfers," he introduces slowly. "If anyone else learns you've lost three weeks of memories, you'll be factionless. For sure."

You nod. You've heard ever since you were a little kid about the brutality of the Dauntless. You pause - three weeks? That's what Four said. That's a long time. What had taken your memories?

"What happened to me since I came here?" You ask him, knees pulled to your chest. "How did I forget all that? Why are you so concerned if I get kicked out or not? Who am I to you?" You hear another pair of footsteps from the same direction Four came from, and see a frowning face attached to a tattooed and pierced buff body. "Who's he?" You whisper.

Four doesn't look to answer. "Eric. He's one of the leaders."

You've heard of his tyrant ways.

"So, initiate," Eric leads, arms already crossed over his chest. You want to shrink back into the sheets of the hospital bed, but remembering that Dauntless detest cowardice, you don't. "How're you feeling? Ready to get back into the game?"

You're too busy comparing Eric to a hairless bulldog in your mind to remember to answer.

"Initiate?" He repeats. "Something wrong?"

"No," You shake your head quickly, glancing to Four, who mouthed a word. Sir, you finally realised. "...sir. No, sir."

Eric hummed. "Don't be late for tomorrow's practice, initiate." And he stormed off.
