For months hongjoong had been trying to invite mingi to his new club but everytime mingi had something else to do then eventually he gave up because he got tired of asking did he wanna check it out .
A few days ago they were all hanging out and seonghwa asked if they could have a drink there when the weekend came and this time mingi's schedule was free , so here they were .
7 of them sitting in the vip section talking amongst themselves . Anybody with eyes knew they were the main dish . Expensive visuals , expensive clothes , expensive men . Hongjoong was doing his rounds as one of the owners which left seonghwa , yeosang , yunho, mingi , san , wooyoung & jongho in their section without him .
Wooyoung had pointed out a group of girls who had just walked in and san & yunho left the section following behind wooyoung leaving the other 4 behind . "So mingi , how has it been managing the family business ?" hwa asked already knowing mingi hates it . Mingi looked at seonghwa , cutting his eyes as he took a sip of his drink and stuck up his middle finger making everyone else laugh .
The conversations continued and soon hongjoong joined . "Everything good?" yeosang asked and hongjoong nodded . "Wheres the other 3?" he asked and jongho pointed down to the dance floor where you could see them dancing with 2 women each . Hongjoong couldn't do anything but shake his head .
Mingi started to get bored . His mind wanting nothing more than to be at home in his sweats with a glass of hennessy in his hand . His eyes scanned the crowd looking for someone to entertain him for the night but nobody fit his taste , that was until shewalked in .
He sat up in his seat and watched as she walked around , security greeting her and her greeting people she seemed to know . "Hongjoong?" he called out to the shorter man who hummed . "Who's that , she looks .. important" mingi said and hongjoong followed his gaze until he saw you .
"She is important , she's the other owner .. my friend & business partner" he said seeing interest written all over his other friends face . "What's her name?" mingi asked and hongjoong didn't wanna answer at first cause he knew his friend but he did anyways . "Y/n" he said and he swears he saw mingis eyes glaze over .
He quickly drank the rest of his drink and stood up . "I'll be back" he said and hongjoong called out to him . "Mingi don't try to fuck my business partner" he stressed and mingi looked back at him . "I'm not gonna try to fuck your business partner .." hongjoong relaxed a bit . "I just wanna talk" he said with a smirk on his face and everyone knew what that meant .
"I know y/n & I bet you that's not gonna go how he wants it to" hongjoong said as he sat back in his seat defeated .
Mingi made his way down to where you were standing by the bar , you were beautiful but you were even prettier from behind and he couldn't help but bite his lip a bit . He walked up beside you and at first he didn't say anything or look at you but when you were about to order your drink he ordered one first and then told the bartender to give you whatever you wanted and he'd pay. You couldn't help but let out a small laugh .
When you did he turned and looked at you . "What's funny beautiful?" he asked and you shook your head "Nothing , nothing" . He held his hand out to you for you to shake which you did place your hand in his but he kissed it instead of shaking it . "Can i get a name to match to this pretty face of yours?" he asked and you almost cringed but his face made up for it .
"Y/n , i'm surprised you didn't know that already though" you said and he tilted his head in confusion . "You're joongs friend aren't you?" you asked and he laughed . "Guess i'm busted" he said and you laughed with him . You couldn't lie , the man was fine asf .
He smelled , looked and sounded good as hell and he was completely your type but you liked playing hard to get . "So , y/n .. you and him don't have to be here at the same time , so what brings you here tonight?" "I needed a drink & id rather have one here than be alone at home" you said and you noticed how his eyes glossed over .
Mingi heard the word alone and it was like his prayers were answered , you didn't have a man . "Well i could make your night pretty entertaining." he said and as tempting as the offer was , again you liked playing hard to get . "Is that so?" you asked turned to face him and he smiled at you . oh my gawd .
You drank your 2 shots that you ordered and stood up making mingi stand up too . He was towering over you which checked off another thing in your book . You reached your hand up and grabbed his jaw softly pulling his face slowly towards yours but just as your lips were about to touch you dodged him and whispered in his ear .
"Gotta try harder than that pretty boy , maybe next time" you said and placed a soft kiss under his ear and another on his neck before letting him go and walking away . Mingi felt himself get hot as he watched you walk away . He couldn't help but burn with want for you .
When he couldn't see you anymore he made his way back up to the section where his friends were and sat down next to yeosang downing his drink . "Hongjoong i need her number" he said and hongjoong shook his head . He knew it .
