62. The special Wedding card

From the day I came back to Jodhpur, Daksh was after my studies. It's not like he wants me to study 24/ 7 but he always made sure I studied. We had our cute moments, we went on rides when I told him I was bored, he told me a few stories to make me relaxed after continuous study, he fed me sometimes when I was busy reading and he snatched my books if I ever tried to study after 12. 

It's my last exam tomorrow and I hope it goes well too. I was revising the topics Daksh asked me to. He gave me a few important topics that might come up in the exam and most of them did appear in the last exams, unlike the questions our faculty gave. Not all the questions but most of them appeared in exams. I even doubted Daksh would get question papers after my second exam but then thinking of our principal and Daksh's honesty, I slapped myself for thinking like that. 

I was on the last topic when I heard the door open and shut. My man is here to check up on me. He climbed on the bed and looked at the topic I was studying. Once I was done, he snatched the book from my hands and placed his head in my lap. He has been doing it lately. 

"How was your day?" I asked as I ran my fingers in his silky hair. Why do boys need to have silky soft hair while girls' hair looks like a bird's nest the next day we stop taking care of it?

"Busy. We made a deal and Rohan started working on the new project I told you about." He said and hugged my stomach turning to his side.

"How was my Jaan's day?" He asked and I told him about my preparation. He hummed in reply and laid back straight looking into my eyes. I placed a kiss on his forehead and he gave me his cute smile showing off his dimples. 

He stayed in my room for a while playing with my fingers as he intervened our hands and did some weird stuff with them making me giggle. Then he left after he made me drink milk.

Next day 

I walked out of the hall with a smile etched on my face and walked to the entrance where my fiance was already waiting for me. I ran into his arms taking him off guard and giggled like a fool while he balanced himself and me.

"I take it as your exam went well," His amused tone reached my ears and I nodded still in his embrace. He placed a kiss on my hair before opening the car door for me and I climbed in too excited, bouncing like a ball while he jogged to his side after closing my door.

"Why is madam so excited today?" He enquired once he fastened his seatbelt and reversed the car. 

"My exams and studies are officially done now! And we are getting married in 20 days!" I exclaimed still giggling like a fool. He gave me a full-blown smile, took my hand in his, and kissed my knuckles making me blush.

"We are, " He affirmed and placed our intervened hands on his thigh as he continued to drive with the other hand. He left my hand once we reached his home. He, like the gentleman he is, opened the door for me and we both walked in together. 

Nithi Di, Kaki sa, and others inquired about my exam like every day and I answered all their questions. Except for Daksh's mom who speaks to me occasionally, everyone else is very welcoming and caring here. I hope she comes around soon. Those occasional conversations we had were also either initiated by me or by Daksh who always tried his best to make us both bond, but then again no one can force a relationship.

Once they were all satisfied with their inquiry, I moved to my room and called my family like always. I filled them in with all the details of my exam and the happenings of the day. 

Today, I and Daksh are going to prepare our special wedding card and we all will be going to Bhadrachalam the day after tomorrow. It's a three-day trip and the preparations will start the day after coming back. Most of the preparations were already done and everything is already set we just need to finalize things. About the card, we planned to make it long back but then Rohan bhai said I should first concentrate on my exams as there was still time for the trip and I can make the card later. Everyone agreed with him so, I had to postpone my plan.
