Meet Me Halfway (Destiel)

((This is an AU, Dean and Castiel are internet friends who have begun to date in the two years they've known each other. They finally meet each other in real life. Enjoy!!-SW))

Castiel had texted him all morning, his leg bouncing nervously while he sat waiting at the airport. Castiel was waiting for someone, who you might ask? His boyfriend, who he had met online two years back, he thinks of that night as he waits, smiling fondly upon the memory of how they met.

Castiel sighed, he didn't want to try this chat site, but Charlie wouldn't shut about it. He tapped in the web address, his nerves on edge.

So far, the chat site was nothing but perverts and robots. Castiel's patience wearing thin,'One more chat and I'm done.'

Castiel chuckled at the person talking to him, whoever this person was, they had a sense of humor.

<Same thing. Might I ask your name?-CN>

<Dean Winchester.-DW>

<Well, hello Dean I am Castiel Novak.>

<Nice to meet you Cas.>

Castiel smiled and looked down at phone, he still had five minutes till Dean's plane landed and he didn't know of his heart would survive the wait. "It's okay Cassie, chillax." His older brother Gabriel said, patting his brother in the back. "I am relaxed." He said monotone, causing Gabriel to scoff.

Five minutes later, Dean's plane had landed and Castiel had jumped up, looking around wildly for him.

"Cas?!" He heard someone call and he turned to the voice, green eyes met his gaze. Castiel took off running,"Dean!" He screamed as the green eyed boy ran toward Castiel, they both crashing into each other, hugging each other close,

"Oh Dean, you are real."

"I know, I'm glad your real."

Castiel was sobbing at this point, clutching to his boyfriend like he would disappear if he let go. They both pulled away, only to meet each other's gaze,

"I love you Cas."

"I love you too Dean."

Dean wrapped his arms around Castiel's waist, closing the space in between them, kissing him for the first time. The blue eyed boy didn't hesitate to kiss back, burying his hands in the short sandy blonde hair of the other.

"So. In conclusion kids, sometimes it's worth the risk on chat sites. I mean that's how I met your dad after all." Castiel concluded, looking from Dean to his two teenage children, one daughter, one son.

"Your father is right you know, it's worth the risk, just don't be stupid ok?"

The kids muttered an 'ok' before going back to their rooms.

Dean looked at Castiel and squeezed his hand reassuringly,"I'm glad I met you." He whispered and kissed him like they did all those years ago.
