All he hoped was her to be safe and sound. Eungyeol ignored the burning pain surging through his legs as he ran at the utmost speed he could towards HanByeol's house. The male wasn't dumb to not know something was up and there was a untold story behind her wounds and scars.

"Just hold on, HanByeol-ah" Hunching over for awhile, he continued sprinting on his way. When the teenager reached her household, it was dead silent. No guards watching over the dwelling nor any lights flicked on.

His mind urged him to turn away but his heart tugged him towards the house. "How do I go inside?" Examining the building, Eungyeol decide to lunge in by jumping off a wall and he succeeded in it.

Rounding the household, Ha Eungyeol prayed that he found Seo HanByeol in there or else he would be in deep trouble. "Please be there"

Tip toeing around the house, Eungyeol tried searching for the female' room and he had quickly found it on the above floor but it was empty. "Where is she?" He was starting to get frustrated but his concern for her was outweighing the former emotion.

Aimlessly sauntering around and trying to find her, Eungyeol heard a rustling sound resounding from the basement. Alerted and cautiously tipping towards the room, the boy grabbed onto a flower vase for protection.

Slowly opening the latch, he trudged down the stairs. Eungyeol had almost reached the end of the flight but due to the darkness, he had slipped down the remaining stairs. A feminine voice shrieked in horror which resulted in him screaming too.

"Seo HanByeol?" Ignoring his own pain, Eungyeol rushed towards the tremble girl. Her clothes were ripped from places and were covered in blood. The crimson liquid dripped down her face while tears cascaded through her eyes.

Immediately falling into his arms, HanByeol sobbed. "Who did t-this to y-you?" Shuddering at her condition, Eungyeol couldn't help but stammer in his speech. "P-please get m-me out o-of h-ere" A ripple of anger and worry rung his heart, as he noticed the tight grip the female had on him.

Clinging onto his shirt, HanByeol refused to let the male go. "I will but you need to tell me-" Shaking her head profusely, HanByeol fumbled to stand up. "They can't see me" She managed to get out.

"Who? What are you talking about, HanByeol-ah?" Eungyeol wished that what he was thinking might be wrong but he knew...he knew that he was indeed correct. "Please" He had never seen HanByeol so vulnerable, tears filled his eyes at her state.

Seo HanByeol was always the strongest and toughest in his sight. Forever ready to protect and guard her loved ones. "They are monsters, Eungyeol-ah" She cried out.

Not being able to comprehend what to do any further, Eungyeol grabbed onto her hand and began leading her out of the basement. The male felt his walls crumble when he realised that the two women he loved dearly were getting abused and harrassed in their own houses.

Right at that moment, he couldn't do much for his mother but he was determined to get HanByeol out of that hellhole. He could feel her nails digging onto his palm, a way of letting him know that she was anxious but he only squeezed it tighter to let her know that he is there with her.

Suddenly all the lights of the house were turned on, halting their steps. "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?" Flinching and cowering in fear, HanByeol crouched down, her hands leaving Eungyeol's.

Covering her up, Eungyeol pushed her into his side. "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU WERE DOING?" The male couldn't help but yell at the middle-aged man standing ahead of him. "You treated your own daughter like an animal" The words felt bitter in his mouth but they were the truth.

"She'll never return to this hell" Eungyeol spat at their faces, tugging HanByeol further. "SEPERATE THEM" in a minute the guards in their House, came rushing at the pair.

Pushing HanByeol to the side, Eungyeol started taking the men down. "Run, HanByeol-ah" Muddled at the foreign name, her parents tried catching her. According to them, it wasn't the first time Han Jihyo had rebelled against them but this time she had people supporting her.

Pushing everyone aside, HanByeol and Eungyeol sprinted out of the house. There was a harsh downpour of rain, soaking them wet. Hands clutched together, the pair bolted through the street, feet splashing water everywhere.

"You're safe" Bringing forth HanByeol in his arms, Eungyeol whispered softly. Gently placing a kiss on her temple, he made her look up at him. "Why didn't you seek help?" Shaking her head, the girl nuzzled her head in his neck, clinging onto him.

"It's alright"

"It's alright"
