STEPPING back, I looked around, meeting Dwein and Van's gazes. I just realized how they saw the whole thing. They were there, watching.
"Get all of us out here," Valfer said, his voice was calmer than before. "End this illusion. We'll tell the authority what they did to you and to Dwein and we'll let them decide what needs to be done."
"Paano kung wala silang gawin? Paano kung mas pumanig pa sila kina Danyl? Sabihin na deserve namin 'yon kasi tinago namin 'yong pagiging gifted namin?"
"Then they just show how fucked up this society is. Mas pinatunayan nila na wala sa mga gifted ang problema kung hindi nasa kanila."
My brother slowly let out a smile. A comforting smile. It's the first time I saw him smile like that. A smile telling me I wasn't alone, that whatever happened after this, I wouldn't be alone. That triggered something inside me. A tear that wanted to escape but I tried my best to hold it. I didn't want him to see me crying.

Noah ended up hitting the wall behind him. Danyl, on the other hand, was looking at me, scared.
I ignored his stare and instead focused on the pain my body was feeling. Dahil nawala na 'yong illusion na ginawa ko, bumalik na ulit 'yong pananakit ng katawan ko. I felt the weakening of my muscles and the wobbling of my knees every time I attempt to stand up.
Tumakbo si kuya papunta sa akin at agad na inalalayan ako sa pagtayo. I glanced at the table where Danyl's camera was recording.
"Kuya, 'yong camera. It can be used as an evidence of what happened here." I pointed the camera.
