Stephen Mulhern was well-known for his humor and lovable personality for a long time. His career as a television presenter has taken off in the last several years, with shows like "In for a Penny" and "Britain's Got More Talent" becoming great hits with audiences of all ages. Despite his achievements, Stephen had one thing he refused to discuss with the public or well anyone, his dyslexia.

Growing up, Stephen had always found reading and writing to be a hard task. Words would swim and dance on the page, making it nearly impossible for him to make sense of them. It wasn't until he was a teenager that he was officially diagnosed with dyslexia, a learning disorder that affects the way a person processes information. Stephen had always been ashamed of his dyslexia, making him feel more like an idiot.

One day, while filming a segment for "Saturday Night Takeaway" with Ant and Dec, Stephen made a simple mistake while reading off a cue card. Ant and Dec, who had been friends with Stephen for years, noticed his hesitation and stumbled words. Sensing that something was wrong, they pulled Stephen aside during a break in filming to talk to him.

"Hey mate, is everything alright?" Ant asked, his concern evident in his eyes.

Stephen hesitated, unsure of how to respond. He had worked so hard to keep his dyslexia a secret, afraid of how people would perceive him if they knew the truth.

Dec, ever the smart one of the duo, spoke up. "Stephen, we've known you for years. You don't have to hide anything from us. If there's something going on, we're here to help."

Tears welled up in Stephen's eyes as he finally let his guard down. "I-I'm dyslexic," he admitted, his voice barely above a whisper. "I've always been so embarrassed by it, and I didn't want anyone to know."

Ant and Dec exchanged a knowing glance before enveloping Stephen in a warm hug. "Stephen, there's nothing to be ashamed of," Dec reassured him. "Dyslexia doesn't define who you are as a person. It's just a small part of what makes you well you."

When Stephen realized that his friends accepted him for who he was, no matter what, a feeling of relief washed over him. Ant gave him a supportive grin and squeezed his shoulder. "We're happy for you, buddy. Despite everything, you've managed to accomplish a great deal, and that is really great."

He knew Ant was telling the truth when he said that and he couldn't help but feel really great full that he had two amazing friends that didn't care something was wrong with him.

"Thank you."

"It's no problem Stevie were friends after all."Dec smiled squeezing Stephen's shoulder in a caring manor.
