"When are your results coming out?"
You glanced at the door and internally screamed. This is not the first thing you should ask someone after just waking up from a dead sleep. It's giving heart attack symptoms. You groaned when your mother was still standing at the doorsteps, clearly she won't leave until you answer her. All these days you were trying to forget the date and here your mother is persistent to make you recall your death day.
It's not like you are going to fail or something but the day of result stress you out a lot. You rubbed your eyes and yawned, and mumbled to yourself.
"A good morning would have been better."
"Miss Isabella, I'm still waiting for the answer. I have other works." Your mother said in a scolding tone.
"Next month. Days are not given, just an estimation." You shrugged, pulling off the covers from your legs and getting down the bed. She nodded and left your room and you sighed.
Suddenly, the thought of your aunt visiting you this weekend came across your mind. Does she remember her promise she made before my exams? You bit your lips and brushed your wavy brunette hair before tying them in a messy ponytail.
Picking up the phone from beside the pillow, you took a note of the charge and its enough for the day because you ain't gonna need full charge because you're not going to scroll through reels or read e-books. You smiled when you remember your planning for the rest of the day. You need to dress up pretty well and it should not over do with your plans.
Skipping steps, you ran to the bathroom to get started with the day. It's seven in the morning and you have plans at eleven, so you have enough time to relax and think about your day.
Your mom was busy making breakfast and setting up the table and your father was just preparing his stuff to leave for the office, and you with a warm smile on your face greeted your father before approaching your mother.
"What's with happy mood early in the
Morning? Other days, it's you sulking to not leave the bed." Your father said, sitting on the other side of the round dining table while you were opening the lids of the boxes to see what's in there.Your mother noticed when she stood beside you and slapped your hand, "sit down quietly. When are you going there?"
"Where is she going?" Your father asked her but you replied him quickly.
"To meet a friend." You smiled. Turning to your mother you said, "we are meeting at the Circular Quay."
He nodded before taking the bread from his plate, your mother gave you your one before sitting beside you.
"Is he coming alone or Hanni coming too?" Your mother asked, eyes on the plate in front of her. She glanced at you for a moment.
"Of course she will be meeting us too. But before that, she will be going to somewhere with Wonbin."
Your father asked you again, "you are going to meet who? Anton?"
Why is he asking like that? You awkwardly smiled at him and nodded. He nodded his head in understanding and smiled a little, "the young man is good. We had fun discussing about the swimming lessons and Olympics last week. Tell him to come over again."
You hummed and nodded in response.
After almost ten to fifteen minutes of discussing various topics and in between your mother scolding you for some or the other reason, you were continuously reminding yourself of the day.
"My sister is coming this weekend and she was asking me if we are going somewhere in this next few weeks." She said to your father. He looked at her before standing up and taking his things but still in the conversation with her.
