The evening had been lively, the kind of bustling energy that left everyone drained by the end.

You, however, were already out for the count, snuggled comfortably in Jay's arms. His grip on you was firm but gentle, cradling you like you were the most fragile feather in the world. The other three—Heeseung, Jake, and Sunghoon—had been teasing Jay about how protective he looked, but he shrugged them off with a simple, "She's tired. Someone has to take care of her."

As the event started winding down, Heeseung stretched, yawning dramatically. "Let's head out," he said, grabbing his jacket. Jake nodded in agreement, while Sunghoon, who had been watching quietly, suddenly stepped forward.

"I'll take her," Sunghoon said, his voice calm but firm.

Jay scoffed, his eyebrows lifting in surprise. "She's fine with me."

"Just hand her over," Sunghoon insisted, his arms already reaching out.

The sudden shift in Sunghoon's demeanor startled the group. Jake exchanged a look with Heeseung, who shrugged, clearly as baffled as he was. Jay hesitated but eventually relented, carefully transferring you into Sunghoon's arms.

"Don't drop her," Jay muttered, a note of reluctance in his voice.

Sunghoon didn't respond. Instead, he adjusted you in his hold, ensuring you were comfortable. His hand rested gently on your back, his fingers brushing your hair aside. Without another word, he began walking towards the elevator.

"Did that just happen?" Jake asked, breaking the silence.

Heeseung smirked. "Guess he's got a soft spot."

The car ride was uneventful at first. Sunghoon kept you nestled against his chest, his movements careful, as though afraid to disturb you. The others kept their voices low, letting the hum of the car fill the silence. But then you stirred.

It started with a soft murmur, your lips parting slightly as you shifted in Sunghoon's arms. He glanced down, his brow furrowing. "Are you awake?"

You didn't answer. Instead, your eyes fluttered open, heavy-lidded and gleaming with an uncharacteristic spark. "Hoonie..." you whispered, your voice barely audible but dripping with something almost... playful.

He stiffened. "Yeah?"

Your lips curved into a sly smile as you leaned in closer, your face mere inches from his. "You're so warm," you murmured, your fingers tracing light patterns on his chest.

Sunghoon's ears turned red, and the atmosphere in the car shifted. Jake, who had been scrolling on his phone, looked up sharply at the rear mirror. "Uh, Ella, what's happening?" Even Heeseung did glance once while driving cautiously.

Before anyone could react, you pressed your lips to Sunghoon's neck. The kiss was soft but lingering, leaving a faint mark that made Sunghoon freeze in place.

"Whoa! What are you doing?" Jay reached over, his hand gently tugging at your arm.

You turned to glare at him, your expression darkening. "Don't touch me."

Jay blinked, taken aback. "I'm trying to—"

"Shut up," you snapped, cutting him off. Then, as if to make a point, you grabbed Sunghoon's face and kissed him on the lips.

The car erupted in chaos.

"Wait, what?!" Jake nearly dropped his phone. Heeseung suddenly pressed the brake at the signal and turned around to look at you when Jake slapped his arm, "Why don't you see signals coming?"

The latter just ignored him.

"Are you serious right now?" Jay groaned, his hand running through his hair in frustration.
