The morning light seeped into your room, soft and golden, casting warm streaks over the tangled sheets. You stirred slightly, your senses awakening sluggishly, as though you were emerging from a thick fog. Your body felt heavy yet oddly warm, as if wrapped in a lingering haze of heat from the night before.

When your eyes fluttered open, the first thing you saw was Jungwon. He was lying on his side, his head propped on one hand, while his other hand traced delicate patterns along your cheekbone. His touch was gentle, almost reverent, as though he was afraid to disturb you.

"Good morning, darling" he said, his voice soft and low, carrying a warmth that sent a shiver down your spine.

You blinked, confusion swirling in your mind as fragments of last night began to surface: the bittersweet taste of the chocolates, a long gap in between with some lost vivid events and then the way your skin seemed to hum under his touch, the blurred intensity of his gaze in the dim light. Everything felt vivid yet disjointed, like a dream slipping away.

You sat up slightly, clutching the blanket tighter around your chest as you turned to face him. Your voice came out shaky. "Jungwon... what happened last night?"

He smiled faintly, sitting up as well, though he kept a careful distance. His eyes remained locked on yours, steady and calm, even as your expression flickered with fear and confusion.

"Nothing you didn't want, Ella" he murmured, his voice soothing but firm. "We were together. That's all."

Your heart raced, and you shook your head slightly, trying to make sense of the flashes in your mind. "But... I wasn't myself. After eating those chocolates—they weren't normal. They made me feel..."

"Free," he interrupted gently, his hand moving to rest on the bed between you. "They didn't change you; they just helped you let go of everything holding you back. You weren't out of control, and you weren't someone else. You were you."

His words, though calm and tender, made your stomach twist with doubt. "But what if I wouldn't have done any of it without them?"

Jungwon tilted his head slightly, his eyes softening further. "Sometimes, we need something to push us to be honest with ourselves. Think about it—everything we said, everything we did... it didn't come from nowhere. It was already there, wasn't it? We've always had this connection, and last night was just..." He trailed off, his lips curving into a small smile. "It was us finally acting on it."

You stared at him, his words settling over you like a heavy blanket. Deep down, you couldn't deny the pull you'd always felt towards him, but the circumstances made it hard to trust your own emotions. "I just... I don't know."

His hand lifted again, hesitating for a moment before brushing a stray strand of hair away from your face. The touch was so soft, it sent an involuntary shiver through you. "You don't have to know right now," he murmured. "But don't regret it, okay? Nothing about last night was wrong. It was just us, being closer than we've ever been. And it felt right to me. Didn't it feel right to you?"

You hesitated, your breath hitching as his words tugged at something deep inside you. The memories were still a blur, but you remembered the way you'd felt in his arms—safe, wanted, and utterly consumed by the moment.

He leaned back slightly, giving you a bit of space but keeping his gaze fixed on yours. "Whatever you're feeling, it's okay. You're safe with me. Nothing has to change unless you want it to."

The steadiness of his voice, the calm conviction in his eyes, began to chip away at your fear. Though the uncertainty lingered, his presence grounded you.

"I know, Wonnie" you whispered, your voice barely audible.

Jungwon smiled, the faint curve of his lips warming the space between you. "Good. Just remember, I love you. I love you so much."
