The living room of the mansion was dimly lit, the glow of the chandelier reflecting off the luxurious marble floors. The heater wave filled the air, adding warmth to the cold January night.
The seven boys sat scattered around the large sectional sofa, waiting for you.
Their expressions varied, but one thing was the same—they all looked incredibly handsome.
Heeseung sat at one end of the couch, one arm resting on the back while his other hand lazily spun a whiskey glass—the amber liquid swirling with his movements. His black shirt was unbuttoned at the top, revealing a glimpse of his toned collarbone, and his sharp eyes flickered towards the stairs every now and then, waiting.
Jay, on the other hand, was completely relaxed. Leaning back with his legs spread apart, his fingers ran over the rings adorning his hands. His fitted dark-blue turtleneck clung to his physique just right, his usual confident smirk present as he exchanged glances with Jungwon, who sat beside him.
Jungwon looked effortlessly cool—a silk button-down hugging his frame, sleeves folded up to his elbows, revealing his forearms. His sharp gaze flicked towards Jay, their silent exchange filled with amusement as they waited for your arrival.
Sunghoon sat near the armrest, legs crossed, running a hand through his messy hair. His white shirt was neatly tucked into his tailored slacks, his silver watch glinting under the light as he checked the time.
Jake was drumming his fingers against his knee, his lips pursed as he leaned forward slightly. Dressed in a deep burgundy sweater that emphasized his broad shoulders, his golden chain peeked from beneath his collar, making him look even more devastatingly attractive.
Sunoo was perched on the other end, his plush lips curled in an amused smile as he scrolled through his phone. His silky hair fell perfectly over his forehead, his oversized sweater slipping slightly off his shoulder—making him look effortlessly soft yet undeniably tempting.
And then there was Niki—sprawled out on the couch with his arms stretched behind his head. He wore all black, his dark gaze fixated on the entrance, waiting for you with an unreadable expression.
Then, the sound of your shuffling and something falling down against the floor echoed.
All seven heads turned towards the stairs just as you appeared, carrying several paper bags in your hands.
Jay immediately stood up, grabbing your wrist and taking the paper bags to place them on the table and effortlessly pulling you between him and Jungwon.
"Finally," he murmured, his lips grazing your temple as he guided you to sit down.
Jungwon smirked, his fingers grazing over your exposed wrist. "Took you long enough."
You rolled your eyes playfully and set the paper bags down. "Well, if you must know, I called you all here to give you your Christmas gifts."
A flicker of interest passed through their eyes.
Jake raised an eyebrow. "Christmas gifts?"
You nodded, reaching into the first bag. "Yes. You all gave me the grand and the best surprise of my life, so you deserve a little something special."
Sunoo grinned, tucking his legs beneath him. "Oh? I like where this is going."
One by one, you pulled out the gifts, each one wrapped in elegant black and gold wrapping paper.
"Let's see if you actually got us something useful," Sunghoon teased, smirking as he reached out to take his gift.
Heeseung chuckled, taking his package from you. "If it's from you, I'm sure it's something worth keeping."
