"Heeseung..."
Your soft voice quickly lifted him up on his feet and he stepped towards you, cupping your cheeks, "what happened?"
He was in a separate room, just fee ones away from your aunt's one because of the treatment to his wounds. His palm was well wrapped in a white bandage and his forehead had a bandaid placed tilted. Your fingers touched it tenderly and then your hand traced his palm above his on your cheek, "you should go back."
"The boys will be here soon." He quickly said.
You shook your head, your face washed off earlier before going inside the hospital room where your aunt was sleeping. And, Jungwon had sent a fresh pair of clothes for you.
"Tell them to stay away. They don't need to come here...I...my aunt..." you trailed off, your eyes wandering around not to meet his eyes.
"Ella, look at me." Heeseung said softly but there was an authority in his voice, still you didn't response to his question, instead asked him about the earlier incident.
"Are you okay, Heeseung? There are so many cuts and Jake...he got near shot on his shoulder. Is he okay?" Your worried voice got a weak smile from him. The surrounding was silent with just a sound of a distant medical device in the room.
"They are fine...they have got treated their wound and are on their way-"
"I'm going to my hotel with my aunt and she asked me to stay with her." You cut him off.
Heeseung's hand fell from your cheeks to your lower jaw and he cupped your side of the face, "your aunt can stay with us too. In your room. We all can take care of her."
"Heeseung, she doesn't want any more trouble and you all don't have to worry about us. We are parting our ways soon, anyways." Your voice quiet down in the end.
His jaw clenched at your defeated form, "you think we caused this trouble?" The sudden edge in his voice made you looked at him straight into his eyes, when he repeated, "didn't I say you are stuck with me?"
"My trip is over, Hee..." you managed to control your trembling voice. A foreign feeling of fear and grief washing over you, as if you were going to lose someone close to you, "I-I'm going back to my country."
"No, you aren't. You are coming with me, with us to Korea."
You shook your head, prying his hands off from you and took a step back while you looked away towards the window, the late morning light shining through the room, "it's not possible. We are just friends and we just can't help this situation. We knew that we have to part ways."
"Friends?" Heeseung took a step closer to you, and his demeanor changed from earlier. The dark look in his eyes made you to take a step back. The edge of the hospital bed hit the back of your knee but you held your ground strong. "You think of me just as a friend?"
"Heeseung...", you placed your hand on his chest, attempting to make him stop but he didn't stop from closing in the distance even more, "stop."
His palms rested on both of your shoulders when he pressed you down to sit on the bed, you complied with his silent gestures.
"When is your flight?" He asked, tugging your hairs behind your ear, his thumb caressing your cheek.
"Day after tomorrow."
"Your aunt is also going to Australia with you?" He asked again.
You nodded.
He suddenly turned around, straight way going towards the door and the lock sound.
