The hotel room was an absolute wreck.
Feathers from torn pillows floated in the air, broken fibre and metallic substances scattered around the floor and some wrappers littered the floor, and Ningning had just launched a water bottle across the room, narrowly missing the lamp. Karina paced back and forth, fuming, her hands gripping her hair in frustration.
"I swear to everything, if I see Ella tomorrow, I might actually lose it!" Karina hissed, her voice trembling with anger.
Ningning flopped onto the floor dramatically, her fists pounding the carpet. "Why does she have to be everywhere? The boys can't stop talking about her! And it's not like she's even that interesting!"
Karina spun on her heel, glaring at nothing in particular. "Exactly! Ella is so boring. She's just always... there. Laughing at everything they say like she's in some rom-com. Ugh!"
"I don't know how Winter bear that annoying face. That faker." Ningning made a disgusting face. "She even stayed back tonight at the after party just for the sake to have a talk with her."
"The moment I saw her descending the stairs, I had enough of the event." Karina rolled her eyes before adding, "I had so much plan for yesterday but she had to destroy everything. I'm sure she held up an excuse to take the boys back early."
Ningning nodded at her in agreement.
Giselle, who had been sitting on the bed with her arms crossed, finally spoke up, her tone even but laced with a quiet frustration. "It's not even like she's doing anything special. She just knows how to be at the right place at the right time. And it's driving me insane."
"She's in our way, Giselle," Karina said sharply, stopping mid-pace to glare at Giselle. "And if we're being honest, we need to figure out how to... move her."
Ningning sat up, her eyes wide with mischief. "You mean, like... permanently? Because I'm down for that. We could 'accidentally' spill something just her way to remove her from the list. Maybe ruin her precious something? Her vibe? Her entire life?"
Karina smirked, her expression darkening. "Or, you know, we could get a little more creative. Maybe make her think twice about showing up in front of the boys again. I'm not saying anything illegal, but if it happens to cross a few lines..."
Giselle sighed, rubbing her temples. "Okay, let's reel it in before we end up on the news. We don't need to take it that far. Yet." She looked at the others, her voice lowering conspiratorially. "But we do need to do something. Tomorrow is our chance to make sure Ella stays out of the picture. For good."
Karina's eyes gleamed with determination. "Fine. What's the plan, then?"
Ningning leaned in eagerly. "Please tell me it involves some drama. Like a mysterious spill or a conveniently missing chair..." there was a double meaning in the words.
Giselle let out another long sigh, a hint of amusement in her voice. "No drama. Not yet, anyway. Tomorrow, we charm the boys, make our presence undeniable, and casually show Ella she doesn't belong in our orbit."
"And if that doesn't work?" Karina asked, crossing her arms.
Giselle smirked, a dangerous twinkle in her eye. "If that doesn't work, then we'll escalate. But for now, let's focus on winning them over. We'll make sure Ella is nothing more than a footnote in their lives by the time we're done."
The room fell silent for a moment as the three of them locked eyes, their shared determination palpable. Then Ningning grinned, breaking the tension.
"This is going to be fun," she said, picking up a pillow and tossing it at Karina.
