When did they fall in love?
Meeting them separately at different occasions was somehow unexpected and maybe destined.
Their paths had crossed like whispers in the wind—gentle, fleeting, yet undeniable. There was no single moment, no grand revelation, only the quiet certainty that grew between them, as natural as the tide meeting the shore.
At first, it was curiosity, a recognition of something familiar yet unknown. A pull, subtle but persistent, as if they had always been walking towards each other without realizing it. Time wove them together, not in a rush, but in a slow, deliberate rhythm, where understanding deepened with every shared glance, every unspoken word.
Love did not announce itself with fireworks or declarations. It settled in, steady and unshakable, in the spaces between conversations, in the quiet presence of knowing they were no longer alone. And perhaps, without even realizing it, they had been in love long before they could name it.
And, then it all started when...
The steady hum of the train filled the space around you, blending with the occasional murmur of conversation. You had just settled into your seat when you turned your head.
"Aunt?" Your voice came out in a mix of surprise and amusement.
She looked up, equally shocked, before breaking into a laugh. "Well, would you look at that? What are the chances?"
Of all the trains in Milan, you somehow ended up on the same one. It was almost too strange to believe. A few seats away, several familiar faces were deep in conversation—all the seven boys you met in last few days except the one across from you — Sunghoon.
Sunoo was the first to start talking to you, his expression lighting up with recognition. "My sweety..." He hesitated, then smiled. "I didn't expect to be meeting today!"
Oh! He definitely expected it because he was the one who gave away that you were going on a three day trip but what were rhetorical chances of being the same was less likely.
You let out a small laugh. "Yeah. I guess we're all heading in the same direction."
Jake leaned forward slightly, intrigued. "Where are you staying?"
You exchanged a quick glance with your aunt. "We haven't decided yet," you admitted. "We were going to figure it out when we got there."
Sunoo's eyes widened. "You don't have a place yet? You should just stay with us! We booked a resort, and there's plenty of space."
Jay nodded in agreement. "Yeah, seriously. And if you're worried about cost, don't be. These resorts always have good discount offers."
Heeseung smirked. "Exactly. It's practically a steal at this point."
You blinked, turning to your aunt, who looked just as surprised as you felt. Stay with them? In a resort? This was definitely not how you expected the day to go.
As the conversation continued, Jay and Heeseung exchanged a quick glance—subtle, but not enough for you to notice. A second later, Jay stretched, pulling out his phone.
"I'll just check if the resort still has rooms available," he said casually, standing up and stepping towards the end of the train car.
Heeseung followed, giving a small nod in your direction before disappearing after him. It seemed normal enough, but something about the way they left so suddenly made you wonder.
You turned back to Sunoo, who was still chatting with your aunt, enthusiastically telling her about the resort's amenities. "It's really nice! The view is amazing, and they have the best breakfast. You'll love it."
