The bright sunlight streamed through the large glass windows of the living room of the penthouse as the three youngests —Ni-ki, Jungwon, and Sunoo—sat huddled around three laptops. The screen displayed the joining link to an online conference, a critical meeting for their respective work related. Though their expressions were focused and serious, there was an underlying layer of boredom.

"I still can't believe we have to do this," Ni-ki muttered, tapping his pen against the table.

"Responsibilities," Jungwon replied with a sigh, adjusting his headset. "Let's just get through this so we can go out later."

Sunoo chuckled lightly. "At least we're getting some air conditioning." He tried to lessen the seriousness of the situation.

"Niki, are you joining the meeting from here?" Jungwon asked, sharing a look with Sunoo who casually leaned against the foot of the couch.

Niki rolled his eyes and pointed at the terrace, "I will be there by the start of the meeting."

"What if your dad asks about the place?" Sunoo asked, even though his expression was serious but a mischievous smile broke out, "don't tell me, you are going to repeat the action like last time."

"What do you even expect otherwise?" Jungwon added, gulping down the water from his bottle.

Niki chuckled, ruffling his hairs, "Nah. I will join myself this time, no puppet or hostage to use and have fun so yeah, I will join myself and the mic will be off."

"You won't be answering the questions, right?" Sunoo asked and chuckled with Jungwon when the youngest nodded.

"I so wanted to join Ella today but that Leah girl will be there." Sunoo made an annoyed face.

Niki chuckled, "but Noona really loves her and after all we can't say anything about her because she is Enhypen's girlfriend. You know them, nothing better than us."

"Well, Jay hyung said we are going to pick up Ella after the end of their meet up so let's give her some time with her new friend." Jungwon said and the other two nodded.

When you exited Jay's car, in a distance stood a red colour car in which Sunghoon was in driver's seat with Heeseung in the passenger seat with Jake leaning against the car while smoking a cigarette.

They watched you greeting your aunt and Jay following in suit and for a brief moment, he looked at them with a smirk and a mental note about the next plan.

Soon, after a moment, Leah reached the place and they noticed Jay's smile fading into an annoyed expression.

Heeseung texted him to hurry up and as soon as the latter received the message, he made his way back to the group waiting for him.

Heeseung, Jay, Jake, and Sunghoon—were en route to a trendy restaurant in the heart of Milan. Their mood seemed lighthearted on the surface as they laughed and chatted, but a subtle tension lingered beneath the camaraderie. Each of them had received the message from the girls about their arrival at the place to have lunch, and while the idea seemed harmless enough, they couldn't hide their menacing smile.

As they arrived at the restaurant, the girls were already seated at a private table, their elegant presence commanding the room. The boys greeted them with practiced smiles and polite bows, settling into their seats. Plates of colorful, aromatic dishes were laid out, but the atmosphere was anything but appetizing.

"It's been a while since we last met like we always do," Karina began, her tone warm but her eyes sharp. "How's everything going with your business and upcoming conference?"
