The moon was high in the sky, street light posts casting a golden and white glow over the streets as you stood leaning against Sunoo's bike, scrolling through his phone.

Your own phone had died hours ago, and since today was your first real day off after the exhausting exam season, you wanted to make the most of it.

You had just found your next stop—an ice cream shop with Sunoo of course, a few blocks away-and were about to click on a picture of their menu when the phone suddenly rang in your hand, startling you.

Niki.

Your brows furrowed. Sunoo was still nowhere in sight, and something about the sudden call made your stomach churn. Without thinking, you pressed the answer button and brought the phone to your ear.

"My Niki-"

Before you could say anything, Niki's voice came through.

"I'm going to end everything, hyung."

Your body stiffened at his tone.

"I found out who was that. And, guess what, I am not even surprised, it's him. This fucking bastard."

His voice was low, strained-nothing like the usual teasing, carefree Niki you knew. There was a desperation in his tone, an urgency that made your heart race.

"I need you right now," he continued, still thinking he was talking to Sunoo. "Don't tell others about it yet."

Your grip on the phone tightened. What is he even talking about? Also, if he found about something then why doesn't he want to tell it to others yet?

Before you could even process what to do, you saw Sunoo approaching from a distance, a bright smile on his face as he jogged towards you.

"Sorry, I took too long! The line was crazy," he said, holding up the drinks he had bought.
"Did you find the-"

His words cut off the moment he saw your expression. The warmth in his eyes flickered with concern.

"What happened, Ella?" he asked, his tone turning serious in an instant.

You lowered the phone from your ear, looking straight into his eyes.

"Where is Niki? Take me to where he just asked you to meet him," you said firmly. "Don't say that you don't know."

Sunoo's face shifted from confusion to realization. He didn't ask questions. Sunoo tightened his grip on the handlebars, his jaw clenching as he stared at you. His usual playful and affectionate demeanor had been replaced with something more serious, almost stubborn.

"No," he said firmly. "I'm not taking you there."

You blinked, caught off guard. "Why not? He asked you to come there, so I want to tag along too."

"Because you don't need to be there, he is busy with something." He sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Niki can handle himself. If it was serious, he would've called someone else—one of the guys, not me. I don't want you involved in—"

"Sunoo," you interrupted, stepping closer. "If it's nothing, then why are you so hesitant?"

He avoided your gaze, shifting his weight uncomfortably.

You took a deep breath and cupped his cheeks with both of your hands, "Please don't make me doubt you all over something as simple as this. If it's really nothing, then there's no harm in taking me."

His lips pressed into a thin line.

Your hand reached for his, squeezing gently. "Please," you whispered. "Sunoo, I deserve to know everything. I am your girlfriend. You all are my boyfriends...and I love you guys so much."
