Sunghoon's eyes lingered on you for a moment until he decided to look away, outside the window.

The view was nice — both inside the train and outside.

Jungwon and Sunoo were determined to get on the good books of your aunt because of the way they were treating your aunt, often going to her to check on her and offering snacks.

Your aunt was giving you teasing looks and once she even texted.

"So, which one?"

"No one. They are just friends and didn't you tell me not to trust them because they're still strangers. What about that huh?"

Your aunt sent you laughing stickers and resume back her works. She even once turned around to wink at you, surely teasing you for seating among the boys. Handsome ones.

The sudden ring from your phone made everyone turn towards you, and the smile on your face was all evident that was telling others that something exciting was on your phone.

Hanni has called you. Good timing! Atleast you can keep yourself busy talking to her.

"Hey..." as soon you greeted her, she started to whine out loud. "What happened?"

"As much as I love this, I hate it too."

Your eyes were following each passing by as you stared outside.

"What's that?"

"I am moving to USA. And, will be admitted to University there. My father's friend will help him out in all the proceedings." She scoffed at the news.

Your smile slowly dimmed as you're looking down on your lap, the news of not getting to meet her was upsetting and both of your wishes to study at the same university has gone down the lane.

"It's okay..." you said slowly, trying hard not to show your sadness through your voice. "We will try to meet once a year if possible. When are you leaving?"

"We have one month so if you'll be here by then so we're going to be able to meet before parting." She said, hurt was all audible in her tone.

You pursed your lips before faking a smile and pressing the phone to your ear more, "it's just a three weeks trip. one week is over already so wait for two more weeks and we will meet. I promise."

She hummed when her tone changed suddenly, "anyways, day after tomorrow is Anton's birthday. Girl, you should confess your love to him."

Your thoughts quickly shifted to him, how you wanted to confess your love to him on his birthday. It would be surprising for him and you have told about this to Hanni for countless times. Nibbling on your lower lip, you hummed.

"I think I should?"

Hanni's tone changed to one of excitement and high pitched, "Girl! Please, do this. Atleast, something good should happen to look at before me leaving this country. I would be so grateful to leave my bestie to Anton to look after."

"I can look after myself."

"I know, silly but that's not what I meant in general. You know like...you'll able to spend time with someone and all." She trailed off in the end.

You chuckled, an excitement bubbling inside you for day after tomorrow, "got it. I'll let you know about the next day."

"Sure. I'll be waiting. Byeeee!!!"

"Bye bye." 

You cut the call and the moment you look forward, you met his curious eyes.

Sunghoon was leaning back into his seat, his legs parted slightly and his hands folded under his chest and his head tilted. The expression on his face was very hard to judge because of the way he was staring at you.
