The table was cleaned in no time because of the scrutinizing gazes of six people was enough for them to work quickly. And, as per their demand that woman was nowhere to be seen around their table, but they did notice her giving looks towards their table from the distance. Niki cocked a brow at her with a bottle in his hold, mouthing her 'do you want it?'

As soon as they got the table, now the main question was who will sit where. Niki and Sunoo were both still imagining what they had done back in the forest and there's no need to fight over the seat now so they sat together beside each other. Jake and Jungwon were contemplating where to sit and where you will sit after coming back. There were two chairs opposite to each other with the view you wanted. Jake grabbed the one beside the one you had chosen and the other one did the same with the one beside the opposite to yours, the former rolled his eyes at the determination of Jungwon who was not going to back off.

Sunghoon sat on the opposite to Sunoo in the very end and somehow when he gestured for Jay to sit beside him, the latter didn't sit down and stood against the window to stare outside.

Jay wants to talk to you in alone. The only chance he needs to know what's even going on in your life. The rage inside him needs to end it and without even talking to you for once, it's going to be impossible. There's something going on behind his eyes.

Sunoo stood up from his chair and glanced at the three standing while the two others sitting looked up. He watched someone going outside from the restaurant from the counter and decided to follow quickly.

"Where are you going now?" Sunghoon asked, clasping his hands together to rest his chin on top of it.

"Just somewhere." Sunoo said and didn't wait to hear from others anymore. But before he could turn around, he met Jay's eyes and the latter just nodded in response.

Sunoo quietly excused himself from his group of friends. They were huddled around the table, returning to sharing stories, oblivious to the turmoil simmering within him. He was not going to let aside the snide remarks the woman had made about his bestfriend — you, and despite his normally calm nature, something in him snapped.

"I'll be back in a bit," he said, trying to keep his voice light as he rose from his seat. Niki barely glanced up, caught up in the conversation, and he slipped out the door. But Niki and Jake's conversation was about you, they both had rising rage within them.

Outside, Sunoo spotted the woman down the path, phone in hand as she wandered closer to the cliff's edge to take her call. She was alone, her back to him, unaware that he was approaching.

As he got closer, he heard snippets of her conversation, her words dripping with mockery and disdain as she talked about you. Sunoo clenched his fists, each word striking him like a blow. When she finally hung up, he took a deep breath and stepped forward, his footsteps purposeful yet silent against the rugged ground.

"Hey," he said, his voice steady and calm. The woman turned, surprise flickering across her face before she quickly masked it with an arrogant smirk.

"Oh, it's you," she sneered. "What do you want?"

Sunoo held her gaze, his face unreadable. "I heard what you were saying about her," he replied softly. "And I'm only going to tell you this once. Stop."

The woman laughed, dismissing him with a wave. "Please. She's just a pathetic little—"

Before she could finish, Sunoo took a step closer, and the amusement in her eyes faltered. He wasn't the sweet, shy boy she thought he was. Right now, he was someone else entirely.
