honestly, you had tried.

tada, focus on the keyword: tried.

well, your attempts were very futile in the beginning until you became determined to convince her before leaving tomorrow for the sight seeing to the different places.

You sat across from your aunt, who was nestled comfortably on the bed with her laptop in the lap, editing her documents. The familiar sound filled the space, but you could feel the tension in the air, a quiet worry that hung between you.

"Aunt," you began, your heart racing a little as you approached the topic that had been on your mind. "I really want to tell you about my new friends. They're seriously the nicest people."

Nicest? Don't you have any other words to say about them? Like Sunoo is nice, and you can convince by saying Niki needs friends other than his brothers and about the three others - one is an obvious flirt, the other one eager to sneak you to the club for a dance and the third, he atleast want to be close to you like others and invited you over his hotel.

And the worst part is that you are excited to visit their penthouse to experience the rich view. You have literally saved the picture in your phone.

Your aunt paused her typing, looking up with a mix of curiosity and skepticism. "I understand you're excited," she replied, her brow slightly furrowed, "but they're still just strangers to me. You don't really know them that well."

You could sense her concern, and it made you more determined to share the good things you had experienced with them. "I get that, but I've spent some time with them. I mean one of them. And by meeting others. I can say they've always been kind and supportive. They really care about each other and their friends."

Your aunt's expression remained cautious. She paused her typing and leaned back to the head board, crossing her arms. "It's hard for me to trust people I don't know. You have to be careful. I just worry about your safety."

"I know," you replied earnestly, hoping to bridge the gap between her worries and your experiences. "And I appreciate your concern. But maybe if you met them, you'd see how genuine they are. They're really fun and respectful. Sunoo always knows how to make everyone laugh, and others are so thoughtful."

It's better to use his name only for the time being.

Your aunt sighed, glancing out the window as if searching for an answer in the fading light. "It's still a risk. What if they're not who they seem? You've heard the stories about people who seem nice but have ulterior motives."

You felt a pang of frustration but understood her point. "I understand your worries, but I wouldn't bring anyone into my life who wasn't good. I've felt a real connection with them. How about I invite them to a park? You can see for yourself how great they are."

Her eyes softened a bit as she contemplated your suggestion. "I suppose that could help, but I still want you to be cautious. It's a big step."

"Of course!" you assured her, your enthusiasm bubbling over. "I promise I'll always prioritize my safety. I just want you to see that they're more than just strangers to me—they're becoming good friends."

Really...you have never thought of becoming so close friends with someone like you are becoming with them. Apart from Anton, Hanni and Wonbin, you have never talked to others and making friends is a different issue to consider.

But you think it's now time. You are twenty years old, people of your age are hanging out all day, having parties, getting drunk, losing virginity, making lot new friends, having nth heartbreaks where you've never been in a relationship because of the fear of getting rejected by him. Even people go on solo trips and then they make some strangers as their friends and they click through them.
