The sun had just begun to rise, casting a soft golden glow across the room. The air was filled with the faint scent of the morning air drifting in through the open window. The quiet hum of the air conditioner provided a soothing background melody, blending perfectly with the serene moment.

Jay and Sunghoon quietly entered the room, their footsteps light and cautious so as not to disturb the peaceful scene before them. Their eyes landed on you first, your figure curled up, head resting on Heeseung's shoulder, arms wrapped tightly around him as if you were holding onto a lifeline in your dreams. Heeseung, despite the position, looked surprisingly relaxed, his chin resting lightly against the top of your head, as though guarding you from the world.

Sunghoon's gaze softened, and he exchanged a quiet look with Jay. Both knew how exhausted all of you must have been from the events of the past few days. However, there was no time to dwell; Jungwon's message from earlier still hung heavy in their minds.

Jay approached first, sitting beside Heeseung and gently placing a hand on your back. "Hyung," he whispered, careful not to startle you. "Let me take over. You and Sunghoon should head to the location Jungwon sent us. Others are already there."

Heeseung hesitated, his eyes flickering between you and Jay. "I don't want to leave her." His voice was low, laced with concern.

"You won't be far," Jay assured him, his tone firm but understanding. "I'll stay here with her. She's safe with me. You both need to check out what's going on. Jungwon wouldn't call for us if it wasn't urgent."

Sunghoon crouched down beside them, his jaw tight as he looked at you one last time. "Jay's right. We can't afford to ignore this. But we'll come back as soon as we can."

Reluctantly, Heeseung shifted, careful not to disturb your sleep. As he gently moved you into Jay's arms, you stirred slightly, your brows furrowing for a moment before settling against Jay's chest. Heeseung and Sunghoon exchanged one last look, their unspoken bond evident in the determination etched into their expressions.

"We'll be back soon," Heeseung said softly, as much to you as to Jay, before he and Sunghoon slipped out of the room, their footsteps fading down the hallway.

Jay settled back against the couch, cradling you securely in his arms. His eyes drifted towards the window, where the sun now painted the horizon in shades of pink and orange. He sighed, his mind split between the weight of responsibility and the hope that the others would return safely. For now, all he could do was stay by your side and protect the peace you'd found in your dreams.

The door to Aespa's suite swung open abruptly, startling the members inside. Karina, Ningning, Giselle, and Winter turned to see Heeseung, Sunghoon, Jungwon, and the others standing there, their faces darkened with determination and anger. The tension in the room was immediate, the air thick with unspoken accusations.

Ningning crossed her arms, her brow furrowing. "What's the meaning of this? Barging in like this without a warning?"

Heeseung stepped forward, his voice cold and unwavering. "We're here for answers. Don't act innocent. We know you're behind the kidnapping—her aunt disappearing and everything else that's been happening."

Karina exchanged a glance with Ningning, her expression hardening. "That's a pretty serious accusation. You better have proof before you start pointing fingers."

Sunghoon's fists clenched at his sides, his eyes narrowing. "Proof or not, all the signs lead back to you. Everywhere we go, your name keeps coming up. If we find out you had anything to do with this, you'll regret it."
