As soon as the tense greetings with the five men in their impeccable suits concluded, Sunghoon and Heeseung, dressed sharply in their own classic ensembles, stood abruptly. Both directed sharp, unrelenting glares at their fathers before walking out of the room, their movements rigid with barely contained fury.

"Sunghoon..." Heeseung began softly, attempting to diffuse the tension.

But Sunghoon raised a hand, silencing him without a word. His frustration was boiling over, and he didn't trust himself to respond calmly—not even to Heeseung. The elder boy sighed, shaking his head. Understanding that his friend needed space, he threw one last concerned glance at Sunghoon before heading back to their table.

Sunghoon lingered in the hallway, his jaw clenched tightly, the anger on his face raw and unfiltered. Pulling a sleek box of cigarettes from his pocket, he strode purposefully towards the balcony, needing a moment to calm himself.

Meanwhile, Heeseung's mind churned with the echoes of the earlier meeting, the words slicing through his thoughts like a blade.

"She is the key to the greatest success for this business."

"You must understand. They're here, and we can align all schedules and planning accordingly."

Heeseung could still see the disappointment and fury etched on his father's face when he and Sunghoon refused to comply.

"Say one more word about forcing us into this plan," Sunghoon had snapped earlier, his voice dangerously low, "and I'll forget that you're my father."

Sunghoon's rashness had startled even Heeseung, though he himself had been no less firm.

"Dad," Heeseung had said bluntly, cutting through the tension in the room with his icy tone. "You don't get to decide our futures. Everything we've achieved today is because of our hard work—me, Hoon, Jake, Jay. Next week, when I get our results from the university, I'll take over the company. That's final."

His father's face had darkened with restrained anger, but Heeseung had brushed it off, unwilling to continue the argument.

Now, as Heeseung turned to head back to the table, his thoughts were interrupted by the sight of you. You were standing abruptly, your flustered expression catching his eye. He watched as you quietly slipped away from the table, making your way towards the restroom area.

Something shifted in him immediately.

The simmering frustration and anger that had clung to him only moments ago melted away, replaced by something else entirely. His sharp eyes softened as they followed you, his steps slowing instinctively.

There's my princess, he thought, the admiration in his gaze laced with an undeniable spark of desire. Heeseung's lips curved into a faint smirk, the lingering anger completely dissipating.

For a moment, he forgot all about his father, the tension of the meeting, and even Sunghoon's volatile state. His focus narrowed entirely on you. The way your cheeks were slightly flushed, the delicate way you fidgeted with your dress as you walked—everything about you left him captivated.

You always manage to calm me down, he thought to himself, his smirk deepening. But today, there was something different in the way he was looking at you. Something far more intense. A predator gaze.

Heeseung leaned casually against the wall outside the restroom, his sharp eyes fixed on the door. The polished hallway was quiet, save for the distant murmur of voices from the event. He tugged at his cuffs absentmindedly, but his mind was far from calm.

When he saw you walk out, slightly startled to see him standing there, his lips curved into a sly smile. He didn't say a word as he reached for your wrist and gently tugged you toward him.
