I ran as fast as I could. My wolf and I were not going to get caught. We have been waiting for this moment forever and we weren't about to let it slip from our hands.
Running away from your pack isn't the safest or easiest decision anyone should make. But the rules here were unfair. How can they force a mate on someone? I want to find him on my own. I didn't belong to just anyone around here.
By the time I reached the border the moon was high in the midnight sky. I was surprised that I wasn't caught by father's warriors guarding the land 24/7. So I guess leaving in the middle of the night was a smart move.
So here was the final decision. Should I cross the borderline but not be a rouge since I have the royal alpha blood in me or stay here and be cooped up away from the world and never get a chance at freedom?
I took a deep breath.
"Here goes nothing?" I said to myself.
