"I am your Alpha now!" Logan's voice boomed across the land.

He walked side to side in front of a crowd of women, children and 20 teenaged boys stood 10 feet away from us. I stood next to Logan with my arms hugging myself as I gazed at the crowd in front.

They looked broken as if their hearts and soul had been ripped out. A terrible thing happened. Their alpha died at the hands of Logan Harris.

The most feared alpha, who also happened to be my mate. I couldn't bear to see their faces so I decided to keep my head down and not make any eye contact with anyone.

Logan's warriors stood behind me surrounding the remaining pack members that followed Alpha Elijah. They all had the same look in their eyes, murderous devil eyes.

They were all hungry for the kill as if it was an Olympic sport they had to win. It disgusted me.

"Alpha Elijah is dead." Logan began, "Your Luna is also dead."

My heart still aches for the poor girl who was brutally killed in front of her mate just for land. During Logan's speech, there were cries, cries from the women who would never see their mates again.

I saw the children clutch their mother's legs hiding behind them, trembling at their new alpha.

Logan ended his speech with, "Now I am here to collect what was promised to me."

I looked up at Logan in confusion. What else could they give him? He already took everything from these people. A girl with short black hair slowly walked up to us.

As she walked to us she had her hands cradled something one on top of the other.

"A-alpha ." The girl said lifting her hands to Logan and bowing her head.

I watched as Logan reached into the girl's hand pulling out a silver chained necklace. I recognized it, it had a silver crescent moon hanging from the middle of the chain and in the moon was an orb.

The orb was decorated with a black and blue northern light with a wolf howling.

'I've seen that necklace before.' I said to myself.

I remembered the collection that my father had in his vault. He kept them locked up in a chest in the glass mirror, I remember seeing them one time when my mom was alive.

He told me that every alpha had their own necklace representing their leadership and power over a pack. The only way you could become alpha of another pack was if you had their moonstone necklace.

Logan smiled at the deceased alpha's necklace before placing it around his neck. The necklace glowed a brilliant blue color before fading away.
