Roselyn

"Princess, it's time." My head maid lightly touched my shoulder.

Breaking my contact from the view of the vast lands that I would soon rule. My hands rested softly on the beige railing of my balcony.

You guys are probably wondering why my maid called me a princess? Well... I am a princess. I am the only daughter and heir to the Wolf King Charles.

You guys are probably thinking "wow" or "awesome". But it's not that great. My father the King, and well he doesn't pay attention to me much.

He's always busy with his royal duties and rivaling packs asking him to help them take down the other one. And my mom...well she died when I was four in a fire trying to protect me.

But Marissa taught me how to make the best of situations. She was my head maid and 2nd mom to me. She cared for ever since my father shut me out when my mom died.

Though if there's one thing I've learned my my life is that you always had to put on a brave face and find the best in anyone.

"I don't feel like it." I pouted looking at Marissa.

Honestly, I don't want to be a princess. It feels like it's not for me, I want to be free. Free from rules, jobs, duties, commands.

But I couldn't tell anyone the truth. I had to make everyone proud and if that was doing something that I didn't like or love them so be it.

She laughed. "I know. But one of the things of being a princess is taking care of your people as your top priority."

I sighed. "I understand." I looked out one last time before retreating into my room.

"Right here miss Roselyn." A lady with pink hair patted a chair in front of her.

I nodded and sat down in front of the mirror. Marissa got out her clipboard as pink haired girl brushed my hair. Two more girls came in squealing with huge handbags.

One girl had baby blue hair pixied style and the other one had purple cut into a bob. They were twins just with different styles.

"Rose! I don't understand why you need makeup. Your skin is already so lovely." Adeline, girl with blue hair gasped.

"Oh indeed! Look at her nails. So perfect." Madelyn, purple girl began to file my nails as her twin spread primer on my face.

"Haha thank you." I said in a polite voice while I see Marissa give me a thumbs up.

"Okay girls. Let's get to work." Marissa said.
