Ch.10 Wonder diner

After school, Olivia decided to show Elena around town, first they went in the 'Wonder Diner'.

"Hey girls" Lauren went up to them wearing an apron.

"Hey Lauren" Elena said, noticing the apron "You work here?"

"Yeah, my dad owns this diner".

Lauren then pointed to her dad who was pouring tea into a cup, he looked up and smiled at them. Elena and Olivia then sat at a table.

"So what can I get you?" Lauren asked.

"The usual for me" Olivia said.

"I'll just take a cup of green tea" Elena said.

"Coming right up" Lauren said as she left.

"So what do think of Storybrooke High?" Olivia asked.

"It's a nice school" Elena said.

"How are your classes?"

"Well, I have Mr. Wren for Math".

"Oo" Olivia cringed.

"Yeah" Elena sighed "I'll just try to not make him mad".

"Oh yeah he can be pretty strict" Olivia agreed.

"You'll get used to him" a girl behind Elena said.

Elena turned around and saw Kayla Wren who was munching on her burger.

"Oh, hi Kayla" Olivia said.

"You're Elena right, the new girl?" Kayla asked Elena.

"Yeah" Elena said.

"Well you'll get used to my dad, he can be strict, but that's because he has his way to help his students learn".

"I think I will get used to him" Elena said, she then noticed a wolf charm necklace that Kayla was wearing "Oo I like your necklace".

"Thanks" Kayla said "My dad got it for me on my birthday".

"She never takes it off" Francis came up from behind her.

"Only when I shower" Kayla said to Francis.

"Hey Francis" Olivia said "Did you finish your painting?"

"Yep" Francis said "I just gotta wait until I get my grade".

"So you girls wanna join us?" Elena asked.

"Thanks, but we gotta help our friend at the animal shelter" Kayla said as she got up "It was nice meeting you Elena".

"You too" Elena said as Kayla and Francis left the diner.

At that point, Lauren came to them with a tray of what they ordered.

"Here's your green tea" she placed a cup a green tea next to Elena "And here's your turnover and hot coco" she placed the drink and turnover next to Olivia.

"Thanks" Olivia and Elena smiled as Lauren left.

"What kind of turnover is that?" Elena asked.

"Apple" Olivia said "It's my favorite".

"Well no wonder Brooke says you're the daughter of Snow White".

"Well, I do love apples" Olivia smiled as she took a bite of her turnover "So, did you see Terrence in your Science class?"

"Yeah".

"So" Olivia grinned "Was there chemistry between you 2?"

"We just said hi, and that was it".

"What?" Olivia said confused "That's it?"

"Pretty much, we just did individual work the whole class".

"Well the next time you see him, you should talk to him some more".

"I might".

Just then, a girl with long black hair with red streaks in it entered the diner.

"Oh" Olivia said when she saw the girl "I forgot I need to give her something, hey Ilene" she called to the girl.

The girl went over to their table.

"Hey Olivia" she said.

"Hey Ilene" Olivia said as she reached into her purse and pulled out a deck of playing cards "You left this in History".

"So that's where I left it" Ilene said as she took the cards "Thank you".

"Oh Ilene" Olivia said "Have you met Elena, the new girl?"

"Oh yeah" Ilene said "We're in the same Math class together".

"Oh" Olivia said surprised.

"Hey Ilene" Lauren said "Can I get you anything?"

"I'll take 5 cherry tarts to go" Ilene said.

Lauren bent down and pulled out a clear box containing 5 cherry tart.

"I have to go" Ilene said to the girls as she paid for the tarts "I'll see you girls in school".

"Bye Ilene" Olivia said as Ilene took the box and headed to the door.

Elena noticed a heart tattoo on the back of Ilene's right shoulder as she walked out of the diner.

"Ilene has a tattoo of a heart on the back of her shoulder" she said to Olivia.

"I know" Olivia said.

"I didn't know they allow tattoos in school".

"Weird huh?"

Lizzie Hearts, daughter of the Queen if Hearts swung her flamingo mallet to hit the croquet ball as it rolled under the arches. She then got a text on her phone, it was from Blondie about to help look for the missing spell book so the Evil Queen wont be able to cast the curse. She gave a sigh, wondering what would happen if the queen ever did cast the curse.

"Hey Lizzie" a voice said.

She turned around and saw Daring Charming, son of King Charming.

"Hey Daring" she said.

"So did you get that text from Blondie about the book?"

"Yeah" she sighed.

"So, I was wondering, if the queen were to cast this curse, there's something I want to do before it happen".

"What's that?" Lizzie asked as she was about to hit the croquet ball.

"Go on another date with you".

When he said that, Lizzie stopped what she was doing.

"What?" she asked.

"I know that our last date was for a bet, but I actually enjoyed it, and I would like to spend more time with you".

"Really?"

"Yes really".

Lizzie didn't know what to say, Daring had flirted with her before, but that was him being him, but now he wants to hang out her.

"If you don't want to that's fine" Daring said.

"Actually" Lizzie said "I would love to go on another date with you".

"Really?"

"Yes really".

"Well, great" Daring smiled "And this time, it'll be a real date".

Lizzie gave a smile.

"I'll call you later" he said.

"Ok" Lizzie smiled as he went away.

Lizzie felt her heart flutter as she hit the croquet ball and it rolled under the arches. She was looking forward to her second date with Daring.
