Ch.52 Fun time

After the slow dance, everyone applauded as Elena and Terrence smiled and went off the dance floor.

"Elena!" Brooke called as she ran up to her in her golden dress.

"Hey Brooke" Elena smiled.

"First of all, congrats on winning Homecoming Queen" Brooke said "And second of all, can I talk to you alone?"

"Excuse me Terrence" Elena told him as she and Brooke went away to talk "What is it?"

"Ok, do you still have that feather on your purse?" Brooke asked.

"Yeah".

"Ok great cause we have to reattach it to the key".

"Where is the key?"

"Here" Brooke reached down her dress and pulled out the key they stole from Mr. Gram's office, it was now hanging around her neck on a string.

"Also" she added "Remember the item I told you about that could help us with the curse?"

"Yeah".

"Well I think I found where it could be".

"Where?"

"The Storybrooke cemetery".

"The cemetery?"

"Ok, look at this" she pulled out her phone and showed Elena a picture of what appeared to be an evil looking skull of a goat with feathers around it.

"What is that?" Elena asked.

"That is the symbol of the Evil Queen, also known as your mother. This symbol is on the mausoleum and I saw that there was a keyhole on the door, I tried to open it but it was locked, so I tried to use the key but it still didn't work, so I thought that the key had to be attached to the feather in order to unlock the door. So what I'm saying is, inside the mausoleum holds the item that could help us break the curse. Now we just need the feather to attach it to the key and hopefully it'll unlock the door".

"Well, I don't have my purse with me now".

"That's ok, we can do it tomorrow".

"So, we have to go into a graveyard tomorrow?"

"Yes, and I think we should go in the afternoon".

"Well all right then, I'll see you tomorrow".

"Great, now go ahead and have fun with your man" Brooke smiled.

Elena gave a small laugh as she went back to join Terrence.

"K I'm back" she smiled.

"Hey" he smiled "Hey look, I see Rachel sitting over there by herself".

He pointed to Rachel who was sitting on the bleachers by herself.

"And I was wondering if I can ask her to dance with me".

"Sure, go ahead, I wont mind" Elena said with a smile.

"Thanks" he smiled as he headed to Rachel.

Elena watched as Terrence and Rachel who now had a smile on her face went to the dance floor.

"Well while your date is dancing with her" Lauren said "You can dance with me".

She then grabbed Elena's hand and pulled her onto the dance floor. Elena gave a small laugh as she and Lauren danced to the beat. And as they were dancing, Olivia and Macy joined them. The girls laughed as they danced to the beat while having a great time.

Soon the Homecoming dance was over, and everyone was started to leave.

"Do you want me to give you a ride home?" Scott asked Julie as they walked out of the school.

"Sure" she smiled.

"Hey I had really fun time with you tonight".

"I did too".

"I hope we can hang out some more again".

"Well, tomorrow I'm busy, but we can hang out after work on Monday".

"Sounds great" he smiled as they headed to his car.

But before Scott could get into his car, he spotted Kayla looking at him with a smile and two thumbs up.

"Good job" she mouthed as Scott returned the thumbs up and he got into his car.

"Well I had fun" Elena said as she, Terrence, Olivia, Macy and Lauren headed to their cars "In fact, that was probably the most fun I've had in such a long time".

"You didn't have fun back in New York?" Lauren asked.

"Not all the time, I mean, I had some fun with my last boyfriend, but I didn't really have any friends so I spent most of my time alone. But now that I'm here, I feel free" she smiled.

"And you're not alone anymore" Olivia smiled "Cause you have us".

Soon they got in their cars and drove off. When they made it to Olivia's and Elena's place, Olivia said goodbye to Macy while Elena stayed in Terrence's car.

"Hey before I go" she said "I just wanted to say that I had such a great time with you, and I'm hoping we could hang out some other time".

"Me too" Terrence smiled.

Elena then gave him a kiss on the cheek as his eyes widen.

"Goodnight" she smiled as she started to get out the car.

"Goodnight" he said as she closed the door.

After she left, Terrence mouthed his happiness in the car so that so one could hear him. Elena then walked into the house and placed her bouquet of roses on the table.

"Hey what time is it?" she asked Olivia.

"12:30".

"Well I'm gonna get ready for bed, I bet I'm good tonight".

"I know, that was so much fun. Hey uh, so are you and Terrence like-".

"No, we're still not a couple, let's just say that we're in a complicated relationship".

"All right".

"Well I'm gonna get some rest".

"Ok, goodnight roomie" Olivia smiled.

"Goodnight" Elena smiled as she went into her room.

In their dorms, Raven and Apple were laying on Apple's bed with bored looks.

"It's so boring today" Raven mumbled.

"Tell me about it" Apple agreed.

The girls then gave a sigh as they had a bit of a silence, until something came in Raven's head.

"Apple" she said "Do you know if my mother has always hated your mom?"

"Hm" Apple said as she thought about it "I think she has, even if my mom was always nice to your mom".

"Well" Raven said with a nervous look "Do you think that's ever gonna happen to us?"

"What?"

"I mean, what if something happens and I have to become the next Evil Queen and then we end up like our moms".

"Well" Apple said with a nervous look "I hope that doesn't happen, I mean, you're still not planning on following your destiny, and I accept that, especially since after what happened in Wonderland. But, no matter what happens, we'll always be friends."

"I hope so too" Raven smiled.
