When she finally got to Daniel shack, she busted open the door, only to find the house empty save his second body. But this was urgent. The three-day limit meant they needed to act a lot quicker than YN had thought wise.
She thrummed her fingers against her forehead, squeezing her eyes shut. Think. Think. Where would I go if I was Daniel? The few uncomfortable hours of sleep and the red lines on her wrist where the cuffs had cut off circulation made it hard to think.
School. It was only like eleven am, and Daniel in his bizarre innocence had likely just simply gone to school. She hurried and put her uniform on before rushing to school. She got there just as lunch was ending, thankfully avoiding the teacher's attention from randomly rushing into class. She only pretended to pay attention to the afternoon lessons, only until break when she turned in her seat to sit backwards and talk to Daniel.
"We need to hurry–" she started at the same time Daniel said,
"I'm sorry for the hasty break-in–"
"Well, it's fine. I don't know if you heard through your other body but the entire place is going into lockdown for three days, so no streaming. It means we have a little time but we need to move really really quickly."
"I found out that all the streamers are still in that building by ordering all that chicken. I don't know they hide them all in there, but there's no far warehouse or something. I was going to try and deliver it but..."
"So you weren't able to sneak in because Seo caught you." YN drew her knees to her chest, leaning her forehead against it while she scrunched her eyebrows.
"But what happens after those three days? How can we get Like What and So Funny back? Should I just barge into the company again? But they'll just kick us out since we don't have any evidence. Should we sneak in late at night...?"
"They reinforced security after last night..."
"Should we just break my savings to hire the security team? Is 380 dollars enough?"
She didn't bother responding to that.
There has to be something... How did we take down the gambling and bank accounts?" It was as if lightning struck her when she sat up suddenly. "Kou–!"
"Hey um," Doo interrupted. "Someone's here for you YN."
She glanced at the doorway, which was empty. "What–"
