"Is it true?" She asked, hoping it wasn't.
He stayed silent which made her wonder. It was all beginning to make sense. All the pieces of the puzzle were fitting together perfectly.
"It is true, isn't it?!"
The boy shook his head, "Let me explain."
"I can't believe you..." Her voice faded.
"It's not what it seems-"
"Shut up."
A small smile spread across her face as she shook her head side to side. She tried hard not to let the tears show.
"I don't understand," he stammered. Her beautiful smile confused him at a time like this.
"I loved you."
"And I love you, too!"
"But..." she turned around and kept her voice steady, even though tears were flowing down her cheeks, "I never meant to fall in love!"
She left him there, shocked. She left her first love, who was also her first heartbreak.
