Chapter 21: Dead But Alive

Elena's P.O.V

I'm dead I think.. Stefan stake me but I feel different. Am I dead? No..

"Did it work?!" I heard Damon said but I could move or talk.

"Just give it a minute.." I heard Bonnie say.

"She should be waking up by now." He said.

What are they talking about.. What did they do to me.. Just then I felt a strange  feeling come over me like I could finally move and breathe..

I gasped for air and jumped up. My vision was still blurry but I could see two faces starring at me.

"Elena?" Bonnie said.

"B-Bonnie." I said but my eyes widen when I heard myself. I didn't sound the same.

I look at my hands and my vision finally cleared up.

"What the hell?" I said and looked around.

"Whats going on?!" I said and Bonnie handed me a mirror.

I was a different person and I wasn't a vampire..

"What? you didn't think we were actually going to kill you." Damon said and smirked.

"Why.. Why did yo-" I said and Bonnie cut me off.

"It had to be done Elena.. Im sorry." She said.

"T-this doesn't make any sense.. Why are you doing this." I said.

Bonnie looked at Damon and back at me.

"Klaus has been looking for a cure for vampirism.. He has his hybrid harassing me everyday now." She said.

"Then why not kill his hybrids..." I asked.

"Because your his weakness.. Without you Klaus is nothing. We win." Damon added.

"What happens if I got back to him.." I said.

"Try and you'll find out.." Damon said and smirked.

A tear slid down my face and I looked away.

"I'm sorry Elena.." Bonnie said and walked out.

"It's not going to work." I said and looked at Damon.

"Nice to see you again to.." Damon said and walked out the room.
