Pen's POV:
They turned around in shock. "Pen! My sweet." Needle smirked. I see where this is going. I tried to run, but with quick reflexes, she grabbed my hand and the girls surrounded me. I wouldn't fight a lady! I bet they knew that was my weakness. I sighed. "Why do you want me?" I asked. "Out of all the football players?!" I yelled. "You are close to that girl. I never liked that Pencil. Because of that one day two years back in art class...
Flashback starts...
"Hi Pencil!" Needle said. Pencil smiled and waved. "I sure hope you win the art contest. It looks the best of all drawings!" Pencil told Needle with a smile. "Thanks! I worked real hard on it." Needle gleamed. Pencil frowned. "I had to hurry up and do mine this morning. It's not very good." Pencil laughed. The teacher called out, "Gather Round, Gather Round! Time to announce the winner of the art contest." The teacher smiled. Pencil winked at Needle. "The winner is.." The teacher smiled. Needle couldn't take the anticipation anymore! "Pencil!!" The teacher finished. "Congrats Pencil! Great job! Best drawing ever!" Everyone was around Pencil and complimenting her. "But I worked on mine for days! She just scribbled something down this morning!" Needle angrily yelled. "Be quiet, Needy. You're just jealous." Blocky grunted. Pencil frowned at her. "Needle, that's not nice of you to say that." Pencil said. Everyone stared. Needle walked away, with tears in her eyes.
Flashback ends
"Now when she sees this, she'll be crushed! Hahahaha! " Needle laughed. The girls were gone. But Needle was still holding on me tight. I tried to break free without hurting her. I didn't want to get in trouble for hurting her! Suddenly, I heard Pencil coming down the hall. Needle smiled evilly. Pencil looked at us. "Oh, Pen, you're the best boyfriend ever!" Needle smiled at me. "Wait, wh-" She kissed me. Ugh! I broke free of her grasp. "Pencil! It's not what it looks like!" I yelled. She just stared, tears forming. "AND YOU CAN NEVER HAVE HIM BACK!" Needle laughed evilly. She just ran down the hall. I ran after her. "Pencil! Please, wait!" I yelled. I heard people muttering down the hall. "Ooh, did you hear? Pen is dating Needle but he's chasing Pencil! What a cheater!" They all started giggling and muttering the rumour to other people. "Wait! I'm not dating Needle!" I tried to explain. They just stared at me. "Its him! The cheater! Don't you come near our girls!" They put their fists up, ready to fight. I didn't have anymore time to explain to them. I just ran after Pencil, hoping to catch her.
