The bright light outside caused me to open my eyes in the morning. I let out a sigh and stretched on the unfamiliar bed. Calum groaned beside me, making me smile. As creepy as it sounds I couldn't help but look at him.

His mouth hung open slightly and soft snores were escaping. I smiled as he stirred before I decided that this was very creepy. While he laid peacefully I kicked my legs over the side of the bed and made my way to the kitchen. It took me a while to find a everything because this house was new to me but eventually I found the eggs and everything else I needed.

I had planned on just making eggs but after I found the pancake mix I changed my mind. I worked quickly in order to have Calum wake up to food and because I was starving.

Soon enough the glorious smell of pancakes filled the house. I praised myself on not burning them all, I'm not normally a good cook. I began humming softly to myself and swaying my hips, trying to ignore the dull pain in my lower region from the events last night. I almost didn't feel it when Calum wrapped his arms around my waist and swayed with me. Without looking back at him I smiled and hummed happily.

"This looks amazing. Thank you so much, baby." He leans down and whispers in my ear. He picks up the plate of freshly made pancakes and places them on the table before grabbing a few more plates for us to eat on.

I sat down at the table and watched as Calum made his way to the fridge to get orange juice and a couple of cups. He poured us both a glass and then joined me at the table. We ate our breakfast while talking about life after college. It was comfortable, after last night I couldn't help but be more relaxed around him.

"You know we don't have to go back today. We can just stay another day here." He said with his mouth full of his fifth pancake. Although it sounded nice I knew I couldn't. Having not been to a single class in over a week I decided I should start taking college more seriously.

"I really need to go to at lease one of my classes today, Cal. I haven't been taking school as seriously as I probably should." I frowned. The clock on the wall read 9:45 so I had already missed one class but I still wanted to go. I had to. After a few minutes of him trying to talk me out of it he finally agreed to drive me back.

We ran to his car due to the freezing weather outside. Once we were in he desperately tried to blast the heat but it wouldn't work. No matter how any times he tried it was still cold air.

"Shit." He mumbled as he tried again. As you could guess, it still wasn't working. I instinctively wrapped my arms around myself to provide some heat. He groaned before telling me to wait a second. He hopped out of his car and ran to the cabin, coming back a few minutes later with blankets.

He got situated in the drivers seat again and handed them to me. I great fully took them and wrapped them around myself, instantly feeling warmer. I glanced over at Calum who was struggling to get comfortable he started the car.

"I'm sorry. I really hate this car, I can't wait until I can get a new one." he sighs as he pulls out of the dirt road.

"What kind of car do you want?" I asked, not wanting him to feel sorry anymore. He seemed to be thinking for a bit before finally deciding.

"I've always wanted a pickup truck actually." He said making me smile. Just thinking about Calum with a pickup truck made me warm inside. If you don't find a man with a pickup truck attractive, you're lying to yourself.

"You could definitely rock a pickup truck." I giggled. He smiled and nodded his head.

"Thank you, I think so too. What about you, miss "I have no car." What type of car do you want." I thought for a while, like he had.

"I'd be okay with any type of car. I'm not picky." I said with a smile. My family had never been fortunate enough to have more than one car so I learned to be happy with whatever I got.

The car ride seemed to go quicker now and soon we were back on the familiar campus. It was almost 10:30 by the time Calum dropped me off at my dorm. I had decided that I needed to make myself look more presentable before going out in public.

"I'll see you after my classes, I love you." He said as he leaned across the console to kiss me. I kissed back quickly before thanking him again and running to my room. It really was freezing outside, I definitely need to dress warmer if I'm going to walk to class.

The first class I could make was Latin but it wasn't for 15 minutes so I decided to get some coffee first. I ordered my usual and sat down at a table. After a while I got up and made my way to class.
