Its December. That means the tree is up and I mutter to myself how bad my decorations look. I get frustrated and end up half- assing shit.

This year was different, sorta. I had a boyfriend who would help. I would still wanna throw everything out the window but he would say, "I like that" or "how about over here?"

He threw the lights around the tree, spacing them out. I smiled widely. He was enjoying himself. Mishka was playing with a stuffed Rudolph with a Star Wars sweater on. My smile got wider as Aleks walked over. He put ah arm around my waist and looked toward the tree.

"It's looking amazing. I promise" He pecked me on the nose and I sighed. "It's the hanging shit that makes me wanna just-just-scream!"

"Listen you nerd, it looks amazing. Just accept it"

I huffed, "fine"

I gave him a long kiss and hugged him. "I love you"

"Love you too you fucking nerd"
