  (Y/N POV)

Today's another boring day at the office. I share a successful company with my ex husband Shawn. We bought a producing company together 2 years ago. 2 years later with divorce papers filed, we still share the company.

I hate Shawn and from what he says, he doesn't like me a whole lot either. Our offices are on the same floors unfortunately and right across from each other.

I never go out of my space unless it's needed. Usually for lunch and stuff. Honestly I'm just not trying to bump into Shawn.

It's awkward and weird because we fire mean comments to each other every time we see each other. It's usually me that starts it. It's childish, but you would understand if you know what he did to me.

I came home from a busy night at the office, going to meetings and through emails. I came home to Shawn sleeping peacefully on our shared bed. I couldn't help but smile seeing how cute he was. I went to his side to kiss him on the cheek. But something caught my eye. He had a text message from a "friend" of his named Lauren.

I was skeptical of her already because he was texting her non stop when we would be together and I commented on who she was. He brushed it off and told me she was a friend from grade school. I believed him because I trusted my husband. But being my curious self
I clicked on the message and read the conversation that ended it all.

Lauren- hey tonight was great ;)

Shawn- yea it was babe

Lauren- are you sure (y/n) doesn't know?

Shawn- yea she doesn't know, she's at work right, you want round 2? ;)

Lauren- meet me at my house xx

I cried reading that. Shawn then woke up and tried to comfort me. I pushed him away and stormed to the closet, throwing down my suitcase and tossing whatever my hands could grab.

He was yelling telling me to stop and what he did wrong.

"(y/n) what are you doing?" he questions taking my suitcase away.

"Give it back!" I screamed still crying.

"Babe tell me what I did wrong please." he replies.

"You cheated on me you fucker. With your "friend from grade school." I mock.

"What are you talking about, I'm not cheating on you." He scoffs dumping my clothes all on the ground.

"Tell that to your text messages." I grit, scrambling on the floor and putting my belongings back in.

"(Y/N) it's not what it looks like." Shawn tries reasoning.

I put my hand up telling him to stop.

"Save it for someone who cares Shawn." I growl as I push my hair back with my hand while the other one zips the carrier up.

I hastily stand up and walk down the stairs quickly but Shawn grabs my suit case and throws it down the stairs making it explode and break.

I'm stunned for a second before regaining my composure and continue to descend downstairs.

"Stop (y/n), please I can fix this!" Shawn yells rushing downstairs to catch up with me.

"Fix what Shawn? You did it, it's over with and you have to face the consequences." I seethe wiping away my tears.

He doesn't say anything but lower his head in shame as I continue to get as far away from him as possible.
