ABBY'S POV

I felt great after finally talking to Ashton about everything, and I can only hope he did, too. He looked truly awful and had I known just talking would've helped us both, I would've done it a loooong time ago. I walked out of my dressing room and made my way to the buses so we could leave. "Well that didn't take long!" Kalee said as I shut the bus door. "Yeah, how'd it go? You look better than you have this whole tour," Chrissy asked. "It went really well. I really think he finally understands and we're getting over the whole dating thing. I should've known it wasn't going to last, he was my first boyfriend. We'll get over the little road bump and still be friends," I said, feeling a whole new weight lifted off my chest as I explained. "That's great! I'm glad he listened," Mya said. "I am, too. I did some listening of my own, and I realize how much of a mess we both were," I said, before I realized I should call Michael. "I'll be right back," I said, whipping out my phone and heading to the lounge area at the back of the bus.

"Hello?" Dad answered. "Hey, dad!" I replied. "Well someone sounds extra cheery tonight. How was your show?" He asked. "It went well. A few...unexpected parts but it was all cotton candy and rainbows!" I replied. "A certain someone showed up and surprised me, but I think you have an idea who," I said. "Oh my god...was JT Ashton? Is he still bothering you?" Michael asked. "No, no. I mean, yes, it was Ashton but he didn't really bother me that much. We talked everything through and we're cooler than an ice cream cone. Of course there will be speed bumps but I was tired of avoiding him and I really didn't want it getting in the way of your band or my own happiness. Everything's good," I assured him. I heard a small sigh of relief before he replied. "Good. I'm still not happy he went up there but I'm glad you guys sorted things out and you're having a good time," Michael said. "Yeah, so how's life back in L.A.?"  I asked, sitting on the couch. "Less stressful now that I know the situation down in Dallas," Michael said. "I better let you go, you must be tired. It's late there and I'm sure it's been a long night," He continued. "Yeah, goodnight! Love you!"
I said before hanging up.
