Dave and Karkat spend the rest of the morning at the arcade playing various games. Dave had texted Rose and Jade about meeting up after school in the park.
At 2:25 they met up with Rose and Jade. Jade had brought John along to let everybody get to know him better.
Jade had also put John's number into everyone's phone 'just because'.
They all talked for hours and soon the sun was setting and it was time for them to go home.
"So are you going back to your apartment?" Karkat asked Dave.
"I guess I have to." Dave shoved his hands into his pockets. "I'll see you later." Dave walked down the street away from Karkat.
Dave didn't expect much of a reaction from Bro when he went home. Dave had run away enough times in his life, Bro had stopped caring.
When Dave walked into the apartment it was quiet. "Bro?" Dave called out. No answer. Bro must have gone out. "Sweet." Dave went to go get some food out of the kitchen then went to watch t.v
After about an hour of flicking between channels Dave's phone started buzzing. Dave checked his phone.

John: hey dave! It's john!
Dave: yo what's up?
John: there's absolutely nothing on to and decided to kill the boredom
Dave: yeah i know the feeling. i've been flicking between the same two channels for about an hour now
Dave: tv has become so shit
Dave: I mean you cant get any classic shows anymore
Dave: man i would kill for an episode of the fresh prince right about now
Dave: that was gold
John: i've never seen it
Dave: are you serious
Dave: dude
Dave: we gotta fix this shit
Dave: i think my bro has a box set or something hoarded away in his room somewhere
Dave: you should come over
Dave: binge watch this shit til dawn
John: haha okay! i'll be there soon
Dave turned off his phone and got off the couch. He had box sets to find.
