CHAPTER THIRTY TWO

"Mewtwo use aura sphere!" PBG said. Mewtwo charged up a light blue orb and hurled it at Moltres.
"Moltres! Fly up and dodge that, then use flamethrower!" he did do, and Mewtwo was in for a direct hit when he simply swept his arm through it and it dissipated into the air.
"Zapdos, get to him and use thunder!"
"Articuno, go from the other side and use blizzard!"
"Moltres, don't give up! Fly upwards and flamethrower from above!"
The birds did so beautifully and all three released different elemental attacks at Mewtwo.
"Mewtwo, use protect!" PBG said. A glowing grey sheld appeared around Mewtwo and all of the birds' efforts exploded off the surface of it.
"Don't give up guys! You can do it! Moltres, use flamethrower again!"
"He's right Zapdos, keep going! Thunder!"
"Articuno, we're wearing him down! Ice beam!"
PBG said "dodge them Mewtwo, then use psybeam!" and Mewtwo skillfully weaved around the attacks and then released one of his own. Pink blasts erupted from Mewtwo's evil eye and hit the birds hard.
"we need help Robin! What can we do?" asked Mario as he frantically watched the battle continue.
"why do you care? You didn't mind all your people dying, why should we matter?" snapped Chrom as he gave mire orders to Zapdos.
"I made an oath to serve, I intend to follow that order." he said
"the oath to order. That's it! Mario you're a genius!" I said, taking the blue instrument from my tunic. I played the simple 5- note tune and waited avidly for assistance.
"Mewtwo, use hyper beam on all of them!" Mewtwo began to charge up a powerful attack and I could see the birds bracing for impact.

A giant white being dived in through the ceiling and took the whole impact of Mewtwo's hyper beams only to return it thricefold to Mewtwo himself. Lugia spread his majestic wings and confronted Mewtwo. In the same way Mewtwo had done to us, Lugia picked Mewtwo up with his mind and held it completely defenceless in the air.
"MOLTRES! ONE MORE FLAMETHROWER!" I shouted, knowing we had won
"ARTICUNO, BLIZZARD LIKE NEVER BEFORE!" Link said, sharing the same glory
"ZAPDOS, BRING THE THUNDER TO TAKE DOWN MEWTWO!" Chrom said proudly. From all angles Mewtwo was fired upon for a good eight seconds before falling to the ground, unable to battle further. PBG took out a purple pokeball with an m on it and took Mewtwo back in.

We all stood and faced PBG. Lugia, Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Mario, Chrom, Link, and me. We were a string united force against an angry mastermind magician.
