Chapter 12

Ashton's P.O.V

A few hours have already passed. I can't stop thinking about my date with Alyssa tonight.. wait, no. It's not a date. okay, maybe it somehow is.. but whatever, Alyssa probably wouldn't even think of it that way.

I don't usually care about what I wear or how my hair looks like, cause there isn't really anybody to impress. But it's all different now, I want to make myself presentable to her. I want to show her I'm not just any other guy, I want her to see the decency in me, I want her to know I love her.

I quickly put on my black jeans, a blue Abercrombie t-shirt and my white Air Jordans. I let my curls go naturally the way they are, my mom says their nice. I quickly slipped the little box into my pockets. I hope you like it Alyssa. i walked over to my phone as I texted Alyssa, I know she's just a room away from me but... I'm too lazy.

- Hey, you ready to go?-

I tapped around my phone waiting for a reply.. In-fairness she answered back quickly as if she was waiting for my text.

- YEAH, I'm ready. Let's go?-

I smiled and took a deep breath. I hope she really likes what I have for her. I take one last look at myself in the mirror. Damn, you clean good Ashton. I laughed at myself as I open the door.

There Alyssa was, she looked as beautiful as always. This time she wore a floral dress with a distressed white denim jacket, her light brown hair was straightened this time, it looked good on her..

"You look beautiful!" I blurted out

"You don't look so bad yourself" she teased.

We intertwined our arms together, as we passed the living room, Luke noticed we were going out.

"Where are you guys going?" He said, he didn't really look happy about it.

"I'm taking her to the park"

"Well, Have a great time you guys"

I walked out the door, I have a strange feeling Luke wasn't happy about me and Alyssa today. Nah, Ashton, you're just being paranoid. I opened the car door for Alyssa as she stepped inside. I hope he doesn't like her too.

Alyssa's P.O.V

I couldn't help but think about Ashton and Luke, there was something wrong about the atmosphere between them earlier. Maybe they got into an argument earlier, I hope it's nothing serious.
I liked the way Ashton looked today, blue really suits him. His curls. Oh, how I want to brush my fingers along with it. He looked really cute and innocent today. You're so hot.

"Really? I am?"  A small smile appeared in his face.

FUUUU- He just heard my thoughts. My eyes became wide and my cheeks burned. Ashton stopped the car and he looked at me with his brow furrowed.

" I am?" A playful smirk now appeared in his face.

"I-I uh...I didn't know I said it out loud.." Grr.. I'm stuttering again.. Why are you doing this to me?

"Doing what?" he laughed

AHHHH.. he heard me again! I looked away closing my eyes as tightly as I can, I wish this never happened.. I wish.. I wish.. Ashton's hand slowly grabbed my chin..

"Come on.. I'm just teasin ya. You're so cute when you stuttter" He smiled this time it looked so innocent and I just wanted to melt.

"You butthead, let's go" I stuck my tongue out

Ashton pouted as if he was offended by me. A few more minutes and we were finally there.
It was a really spacious park, there were couples everywhere. Well not really everywhere, there were just a lot of sweet couples around.. You already know what I mean..

Ashton held my hand tightly as if he didn't want to let go or else I'd get lost in the park. We walked for another 2 minutes to a small quiet side of the park, there was a small pond and a tree illuminating with what looks like thousands of fireflies. It was a beautiful sight. Ashton and I sat down by a tree enjoying the view.

"So, Alyssa I brought you here cause I wanted to give you this." Ashton reached out to his pocket, pulling out a small blue satin covered jewelry box. He slowly opened it and I saw the cutest necklace ever it was a sapphire necklace, My favourite gem. 

"It was my mother's and she told me to give it to the girl I think would be the one" He smiled innocently.

" A-Ashton.. I can't accept that" I stuttered again simply because I was overwhelmed by the beautiful necklace placed in front of me. He looked pretty upset.

"It was your mother's I don't want to ruin it, I might accidentally-" I was cut of by Ashton..

"No, Alyssa. I want you to have it. You're special to me you know that? I wanted to give this to you on your birthday, but I kinda forgot" He scratched the back of his head..

"Aww Ashton!" I hugged him. I was so happy he chuckle "Well, do you like it?"

"I love it, I promise to never break it." I said excitedly, I'm pretty sure I sounded like a 12 year old.

He just smiled back as he placed a soft kiss in my cheek. "I'm glad you liked it."

An hour has passed and Ashton and I was having the best time of our life. We took pictures and laughed at our goofy faces and this is one of those days where I felt complete. I rested my head on Ashton's chest as we were looking at the pictures we had just taken.

"Say, Alyssa.. We're going to be on tour next week.. And I want to bring you with us."

"What? you guys are going on tour?" I asked, confused

"Well, we're actually a band, and we're going on a tour with another boy band called One Direction for their Take Me Home tour, and I was hoping if you'd like to come with me"

"I'd love to come Ashton, I'd miss you.. If I didn't see you for... How long?"

"8 months"

"8 MONTHS?, I definitely can't live without you boys for 8 months.. I don't even know where I am.." I looked at him.

He just laughed at me and shook his head. I laughed too and we just looked at the moonlit sky..
we talked for a few more more minutes and we were ready to leave cause we were getting real hungry. As we were walking to our car a middle aged man approached us.

"Alyssa! How are you?" He said, he looked pretty wasted, the scent of alcohol slowly filling my nose.. I couldn't help but get annoyed by his sight, although he did look quite familiar.

"Don't you remember me? I'm your stepfather, Let's go home. Your brother can't wait to tou-" he was was disrupted by a clear punch on his nose. I looked to my right as I saw Ashton clenching his fist while his teeth we're gritted..

"Let's go.." he said..

"But why? who is this ma-"

"There's no time to ask me questions now Alyssa, let's just go!" He screamed..

I looked back at the man and he just smirked at me, and mouthed the words I had a feeling would be my nightmare tonight;

"I will find you"

HELLOOOOOO.. I have finally updated chapter 12.. i've been super duper lazy this weekend and since I have a test coming up I had to studyy.. :P
who cares about me? LOL.. I hope you liked it. And Please.. VOMMENT. gaarr i still really hate the word.. :( the next chapters wouldn't be super serious there will be a lot of awkward and cute moments happening between Ashton and Alyssa.. maybe Luke and Alyssa too? who do you support more?? comment below
