"And indeed God is my lord, and your lord, so worship him. That is the straight path" -Isa AS (Jesus Christ) {Quran-19:36}

Switching things up a bit with the quotes. The next chapter will probably have one by Musa AS
(Moses).

Rahmat's POV

I pulled his hair, to wake him up. He then groaned.

"Whaaaaattttt" he mumbled into the pillow.

"We have a lunch party today. Get up" I demanded.

He sighed and forced himself awake.

"Shit, I don't want to go" he muttered.

"First of all, control your language, and secondly, we have to" I said.

"Fine mom" he muttered rolling his eyes.

"I'll go make breakfast, and keep in mind, I'm not your mom, I'm your wife"

I walked out the door and went to go take a shower. After the shower, I did my makeup, and got ready to go.

Then I went downstairs to make breakfast.

"Something smells good" I heard.

"Yes" I replied.

I turned to look at him and he was buttoning up his shirt.

"Why so stern?" he asked.

"Cause I'm sleepy and tired and I want to be lazy" I mumbled.

"Awwwww I wish I could too" he said, in a sarcastic tone.

I stuck my tongue out and continued cooking.

"Can you help me button these cuffs" he asked.

I rolled my eyes and went to him.

"You know, there is going to be a lot of people at that meeting" he said.

"Yeah..." I said.

"And a lot of food" he said, with a smirk.

My eyes went wide, and a grin stretched across my face.

"You know me well, Rasul" I said.

"I do, don't I, Rasul" he replied, his smirk growing wider.

"I thought I was Khan?" I asked.

"Your name is Rahmat Rasul" he said.

"Why is that my name" I asked.

"Because you're married to me, which means you're stuck with me for the rest of our lives" he said, giving me a toothy grin.

I just melted. My face was going to become redder than a tomato. I rushed to the food in the hopes that it wouldn't burn as much as my face was burning.

I could feel his stare, boar into the back of my head.

"Food is served" I said, with a huge grin.

"Yummm" he mumbled.

We ate and we left. It was as simple as that. And no awkwardness was in the air.

To be honest, we haven't kissed since that day, and I'm longing as to when I will feel that again. But for now, I guess I'll just wait. Inshallah...

"Whatchya thinkin about" he asked, as our car pulled up in front of his office.

"Nothing" I mumbled and got out.
