"Where are you going?"
"Out," I simply replied, closing the door behind me.
Sighing, I looked at my wrist. Come on, why don't you ever become yellow or something? Why is it always a depressing shade of blue?
Looking back up, I noticed my feet took him to a secluded park, one that I rarely ever visited. Walking in, I sat on a bench, illuminated by the dark night's sky. Deciding to wander while listening music, I got up. Shuffling the playlist, Dead Inside by Muse came up first.
"You're free to touch the sky
Whilst I am crushed and pulverized
Because you need control
Now I'm the one who's letting go."
I hummed along, tapping my feet and snapping at certain points. It wasn't until then when I heard a rustling sound nearby. I stopped and looked around. there wasn't anything around him, but I could still hear it. Looking at my wrist, it was glowing orange as ever. I decided to search for the sound.
Soon enough, I found the source of the sound.
